At last week’s party, we feasted our eyes on some Valentine Treats!
Y’all are not going to believe this…
Well, maybe you will! 😉
This weekend was full of my sister and I playing tag team between the oral surgeon and the insurance company, misdiagnosis discoveries (TWO of them), a visit to the ER until my mom was finally admitted to the hospital at 11pm on Saturday evening, surgery (on her chin, NOT her wisdom teeth) on Sunday morning, me driving back and forth to Los Angeles (about 30-50 minutes away, depending on the time of day) to take care of my mom in the hospital (yes, one of us was allowed because of her dementia), and now, finally settling into a local Residence Inn to have a ‘staycation’ and help my mom recover!
And guess what… the one thing I thought would happen did…
I forgot Tuesday Turn About!
So, as my mom softly snores in her comfy bed, feeling no pain at the surgery site at all (and no narcotics!), I popped out of bed to do a quick TTA post!
So, let’s take a look at the February Fun features that I actually chose on Friday night before all heck broke loose!

Tips will return next week… and may I just say… God’s constant abundant goodness was extremely evident this weekend! Praise Him for many miracles, big and small, that we were witness to!

It’s crazy! But, I’m hoping some things will get easier, for a little bit anyways!

Oh… I really try not to forego TTA… I think it’s important for everyone. My mom is doing well, and post-op is tomorrow. We’ll see what happens from there! Nice thing, they had her on a broad-spectrum med, which ended up being the right one after the cultures came back! God is good!
My goodness, Julie, you have certainly been busy this past while. Praying that your Mom will heal quickly. So nice that you can be there with her. Bless you, Julie! Hope you are able to get some rest and we pray that the coming week will be easier for you. Take care!

Julie, how very awful! So sorry to hear of the ordeal. You know, u could have skipped this week. But, I do appreciate u letting us know mom is resting comfortably. Hope she had her COVID-19 shots already? My 86 year old mom got her second shot on Monday, and I’m very relieved.
Thanks, Debbee… actually, we have opted to forego the vaccination at this. My mom ALWAYS has side-effects, and because we are not sure if there are long-lasting side-effects, we feel that we would rather her have her life be quality instead of (perhaps) quantity. Hope that makes sense. We are taking all other logical precautions for her, to be sure! 🙂

This is what I featured the week of 2-8 to 2-12-2021. On Tuesday was Chicken Jerk Salad. Wednesday was Mushroom Lasagna With Béchamel Sauce. Thursday was Vanilla Custard and Chocolate Friday was Ultimate Nachos.
