So, let’s take a look at what this fall printable collection is all about, shall we?
Free Fall Forest Watercolor Printables
This season, we’re going to take a ‘forest walk’. Lots of mushrooms (who knew after 50 years they would be all the rage again… remember the 70s???), whimsical flowers and grass, and even a cute little forest creature (or two)!
And with my new healthy eating/wellness lifestyle, I might imagine going foraging as I gaze at these lovely printable art pieces. (Okay, okay… I’m not THAT crunchy… YET! 🤣)
Don’t they look so ‘purdy’ as a collage? You can print and slip them in frames (or add to clipboards!) and hang in the kitchen, living room, hallway, or set on a buffet!
Let’s take a closer look at each one. There are lots of little surprises to find.
Forest Mushrooms with Flying Friends
First, we have a family of fungi that are home to several lovely flying critters! How many flyers do you count?
And do you see that little wild strawberry that decided to grow in the midst of it all? Wonder what bird ‘dropped’ that seed?
Peek-a-Boo Forest Friend
While putting this printable together, I thought of my sister, DeeDee. She is a hedge-hog lover and collector. Oh, not the real thing, just images and ‘stuff’.
Peeking around a large leaf, I wonder if this spiny little creature knows he has a friend crawling above him?
Slow and Steady Snail Printable
When my son was about 9 years old, my dad took him to a slot car store. The store had several big tables with race tracks on each one. Several kids could race each other at one time, but most were just practicing going around the track as fast as they could.
But not my son… he watched all the other cars as they sped as fast as they could around the track, but never reached going around even once, because the speed made the other boys’ cars skid right off the slot.
Jared decided HIS car wasn’t going to fall off.
So, as the other boys raced for speed, Jared raced for completion! Even though he maneuvered his car around the track at 1/10 of the speed of the others, he kept his eye on the prize, going around the track as many times as he could without falling off. (BTW, I remember putting my hands on his shoulder and his sweet little body was shaking from concentration and excitement. He had a blast!)
Well, that was a long story to introduce this sweet little snail. As he’s inching along, he has HIS eye on the prize… he wants to get to those tender mushroom morsels growing on the side of a cliff (Okay, probably a boulder, but this little guy sees a cliff!)
These pretty fall forest printables can be printed individually, or as a collage. It’s up to you!

What’s the Best Way to Print Digital Printables?
- In order to give you the best quality prints, these files are a little large. So, be patient… It may take a few minutes to download.
- Adobe Reader is the best way to view and print all of the MWA printables (not in Chrome PDF viewer).
- Use the high-quality setting on your printer, as this will give you the best detail for the printable.
- Make sure to select ‘actual size’ on your printer options.
- Bright white cardstock or heavy paper (28lb or higher) will give the best printing results. Using watercolor paper is even better!
- When there is more than one page to a file, print the whole file, or one item at a time… it’s up to you!
Will you be going on a virtual walk with these printables in your home? Which one is your fave?
Lovely printables, Julie! I love all the little critters pictured. That story about Jared is heartwarming!!
I’m glad you liked the story. I need to tell him to read my post today. 🙂
These are gorgeous! Thank you. And mushrooms are so ‘in’ right now!
You are so welcome! I know… who would have thunk?
Julie,
These prints are just lovely. I have printed them out on regular paper and use the backs to write letters to my friends and shut-ins. Thank you so much for giving us these freebies! I read every post you send out.
