15 PAINTED BATHROOM CABINETS TO FIT ANY STYLE
Now that my amazing bathroom cabinets are painted and cured, I thought it might be fun to share with you some of my blogging friends’ updated bathroom cabinets, too!
You know, in case you like a bit more color…
Or something darker…
Maybe you might like something even brighter than my DIY flawless painted bathroom cabinets?
Or maybe ‘grays’ are your jam!
By the way y’all, on a side note… I accidentally hammered the trim part on my cabinets… several times… while installing my TP holder. The paint didn’t even wince. Now that there is some good paint, and good prep work, too!
But, enough of this… let’s get to the good stuff!

Painted Bathroom Cabinets Roundup – Grays
Okay… let’s get started with some cabinets that have been painted in tones of gray!
Oooo, we’re starting off with some bold black! Rachael from This Is Our Bliss is sharing how you can achieve this high-end look for under 50 bucks! Gorgeous, right?
Lauren from Mom Home Guide painted her oak cabinets for the One Room Challenge! Her vanity looks great, and the color is just a smidge darker than my cabinets! Great minds!
How ’bout using a buffet converted into a vanity? Postcards from the Ridge did just that, and Angie is sharing exactly how she did it! The antiqued gray finish is lovely, isn’t it?
Martina from The Lived In Look is not only sharing her gorgeous gray cabinets, but she’s sharing 9 mistakes to avoid when painting cabinets. Whether its bathroom or kitchen cabinets, wood or laminate, you’ll learn something new from this post!
Here’s another black-beauty from Sara at Mom Endeavors. Sara used an HGTV paint to create this smooth finish on her oak cabinets! Gorgeous!
And rounding out the grey painted bathroom vanities is this beauty from Janice at Sawdust Sisters! Janice used a gel stain to get this pretty finish on her bathroom cabinets! Take a look at her complete bathroom tour which, by the way, cost her less than $100 to update! (LOVE that hardware!)
Painted Bathroom Cabinets Roundup – Colorful Vanities
Are you one that loves a pop of color in a room? Like a BIG pop? Well, these jewel-toned bathroom beauties may have you thinking you found treasure! (See what I did there?) 😉
This amazing teal vanity is from 2 Bees in a Pod! The once ‘orange-ish’ bathoom cabinet got a bright and beautiful update with paint from Benjamin Moore! Just lovely!
My sweet friend Leen from Sand Dollar Lane loves the coastal vibe, just like me! Can you believe that this lovely vanity started out as a desk in their living room? Gotta love that deep aqua chippy finish!
Though not a bright color, Nancy from Artsy Chicks Rule decided to give her three-times-over updated vanity a little bit of coastal blue charm! Nancy is the queen of paint finishes and shares LOTS of tutorials on her blog of different techniques she uses.
Ariel from PMQ for Two will be the first to tell you that she is a color lover! Part of updating her MCM home was giving a makeover to their bathroom, on a budget. Using some leftover paint from other projects, she came up with this lovely green that looks great in her retro update!
This deep green vanity (yep, it’s a deep green) is another vintage furniture piece made into a vanity, this time from Sarah at Making Joy and Pretty Things. And that natural stained top is perfect, too!
And last, but not least, on this color-loving part of the round-up is my dear friend Michelle from Thistle Key Lane. Michelle loves blue, and her classic style is reflected throughout her home! Her bathroom (cabinet) is no exception!
Bright and White Painted Bathroom Cabinets Roundup
I mentioned in a recent post that my bathroom countertop color prevented me from painting my cabinets white. I love white cabinets! So, let me share a few with you.
Do you remember that one of the paint kits that I shared with you on my shopping guide for the best paints and tools for cabinets was the Rustoleum Cabinet Paint Kit?
Well, Shani from Sunshine and Munchkins is showing you how to use that exact kit and sharing her results! Be sure to take a look!
Even though Jennifer Maune didn’t re-paint her cabinet, I thought you might enjoy seeing how she updated her girls’ bathroom in pink and white. The white cabinet sure pops with the updated-everything-else!
And finishing off the roundup is this gorgeous mission style vanity built by Kati at Houseful of Handmade. Yep, Kati created and built this lovely white bathroom cabinet by herself, and it’s amazinggggg!
Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!

They’re all so beautiful! I’m really fond of using furniture pieces for bathroom vanities. I used a desk in a driftwood finish for the vanity in my coastal hall bathroom.
Oh… I need to take another look! Is that the one you posted about recently?
No, it was not that recent. It was from my coastal farmhouse bathroom remodel from last summer:)

Did you post about those? I would love to see!
Such pretty colors! I just returned from visiting my daughter in San Diego. She has an adorable little apartment there but needs some ideas on updates she can make while renting. Needless to say, I told her you had the best! She was super excited when I showed her your counter update. We are both anxiously awaiting your next Coastal Bathroom update!
Oh, thank you for sharing, Denise! You were just about 1.5 hours away from me! Did you miss the crazy heat?

I have two more bathroom cabinets to paint!
These are all great ones! I need to paint mine one of these days.
It was quite easy… would have been even easier if it had been cooler here in So Cal! (Lots of water and cooling-off breaks)
What a great round up, Julie! I’m aiming to do my bathroom cabinetry in black…it’s on the list, but it IS a very long list and it’s not near the top at the moment…
Oooo, can’t wait to see them when you get around to it! I would DEF use the Nuvo paint… the consistency makes it the perfect cabinet paint!
