Tuesday Turn About #42 Spring Smiles
Are you ready to party again this week? Why not gather one or two (or 9) of the kids around and peruse the wonderful links this week? My grandchildren actually love looking and giving their opinions on the images they think are ‘actually beautiful’! Today is Tuesday Turn About #42 Spring Smiles.
WELCOME TO TUESDAY TURN ABOUT LINK PARTY #42- Spring Smiles
You can check out our last party here!
Right now is the perfect time to cozy-up on the sofa or even near the fireplace and take a stroll through this week’s party!
Like I said above, my grandchildren love looking through posts and Instagram with me. The eldest doesn’t hesitate to let me know, “Ooooo, I like that one… that’s actually really beautiful!” Don’t ya just love it?
And what a perfect time to try some of these wonderful DIYs and crafts with your fam!
Before I share some “spring smiles” with you this week (these spring crafts and projects brought a smile to my face)… Let me share a couple of new ‘party-favors’ just for you!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Each week I’m going to share a quick little tip for bloggers that I hope may help with this blogging adventure we are on. Feel free to comment below if you need some additional help or if you’d like to expound on the tip! If you comment, we can all learn together.
This week’s blogging tip: If you are not an expert or professional dealing with the virus that is currently spreading throughout the world, it seems that Google will be ‘dinging’ blogs for using the actual names and acronyms of the virus. So, if you are concerned with your SEO/rankings with Google… don’t use the proper names or acronyms of the disease. (And you may want to go omit or change them in your current posts.)
This post may contain affiliate links, at no additional cost to you.
For more information, see my complete disclosure HERE.
Weekly Household Tip
The same thing here, but one difference… Each week EACH of your hostesses will share a different, brief, but helpful tip to implement in your home… if you want to! 😉 So be sure to visit each hostess for a different household tip!
This week’s household tip: Since moving into My Wee Abode almost 4 years ago, I have only used about 4 rolls of paper towel… total. How do I get by with so little paper towel? I use inexpensive white washcloths to do the job that I use to do with paper towel! I use them, then wash (bleach) them!
Spring Smiles
Now, on with the party!
Be sure to hop on over to Thistle Key Lane and Bluesky at Home and check out SIX additional features from TTA! If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!
Remember…
Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All NINE featured posts are pinned to this board each week!
Now, let’s check out what spring projects will bring a smile to our faces!

This Week’s Features:
Don’t Skip This Skep
Aren’t these lovely? Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate is sharing her tutorial on how to make these beautiful spring-time bee skeps. If you are allergic to bees (stings…like me), don’t worry…you will only have a healthy reaction to these!
Knock-it Off
Sometimes those titles just come to me… sometimes they don’t! 😉
This Dollar Tree knock-off of a Pottery Barn mirror really knocked my socks off! Chas’ Crazy Creations is showing us how to make this lovely piece, and it’s SO easy! (You gotta see the Pottery Barn one she shares on her post, too!)
Moldy Eggs?
Moldy, but only in the VERY BEST way! Create with Cynthia has created a craft that I, personally, have never seen before. These beautiful vintage-looking Easter eggs are accented with clay flowers and leaves using decor molds! Aren’t they SO pretty!
Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
It was such a busy party last week! Hope to have even more this week to share. Let me know what you think about the new ‘tips’ features!
Thanks so much for the great tips Julie! I too, hardly use any paper towels, and for the same reason. 🙂 But I didn’t know about your blogging tip! I went back and changed up the few times I used the Terms That Must Not Be Named in my post, so we’re good there now. Really appreciate you hosting, and helping us all every week. Can’t wait for next week’s tip! 💗
Thank you so very much for the feature, kind words, and for hosting a wonderful party. I hope you are safe, well, and having a wonderful week.
Thank you for hosting!
Always thankful for you joining us, Amber!

Same to you, Debbie! Hugs!
Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 3-23 to 3-27 on my blog. On Tuesday was Banana Walnut Bread. Wednesday was my very own Banana Split Dump and Go Pie. Thursday was Blueberry Banana Bread With a Secret Touch. And winding up this Banana Week of Goodies is Tip Friday Keeping Eggs Fresh. Enjoy!
Bananas are easy to find right now, so these recipes are perfect!
Lovely features this week Julie and I like your blogger and household tips! Well done!
Same to you, co-hostess!
Thanks so much for the blogging tip! I will have to rename it in my last post. I can see Google’s point though as top search info should be scientific.
Yes, Pat… and remember, if you change your URL, you need to crawl it with Google. Let me know if you need help!
