The first edition of the Tuesday Turn About link party is now live! We are SO excited! How ’bout you?
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #1 HAS BEGUN
The party has started! Tuesday Turn About ‘the link party’ has arrived and we are ready to get this started!
What Is Tuesday Turn About
Tuesday Turn About is the newest link party on the block!
A link party is a weekly post put together by one or more bloggers (hostesses) where other bloggers in “Blogland” can come and add (link-up) posts from their own blogs. This becomes a central location where readers and bloggers can discover LOTS of bloggers’ posts and sites that they may have never seen before, and find posts of bloggers they are familiar with that they may have missed. A perfect party for both readers and bloggers, right? 😉
Tuesday Turn About was first started as a weekly round-up post by yours truly. However, because of blogging ‘ins-and-outs’ (I won’t go into the boring details), I had to stop the weekly post.
Recently, my friends Michelle, from Thistle Key Lane, and Crissy, from First Day of Home, and I decided that it would be fun to bring TTA back as a link-party. This way, we ALL get to share in the fun!
What in the Heck Does ‘Turn About’ Mean?
So, do you remember in Pride and Prejudice, and other Jane Austen literature, after everyone at the party is finished with dinner and they’ve retired to the parlor?
Do you remember how some are playing cards, and some are reading books, and others are conversing? Then one person who isn’t doing anything will walk up to another person that isn’t doing anything and ask, “Do you want to take a turn about the room?” And they proceed to walk around the parlor, chit-chatting, usually about silly things that actually have a lot of underlying meaning (this always seemed so foreign to me, but it has always ‘stuck’ with me, ya know?).
As they continue their turn about, they acknowledge others with a sweet little nod and ‘check-out’ the activities that their fellow party-goers are doing and enjoying.
So, Tuesday Turn About is all about taking a ‘turn about’ Blogland, checking out what everyone is doing, getting inspired, and even perhaps taking part and ‘trying-out’ what we find interesting and enjoyable.

I’m so stinking happy to be hosting with my sweet friends, Crissy and Michelle. Each of my fellow hostesses has a style that is simply lovely, and I love learning from both of them!

PLUS, we’ll also be featuring the post that was visited the most by readers and fellow bloggers. Fun, right?
