Tuesday Turn About #244 How To Spring

Spread the love

Tuesday Turn About #244 How To Spring: No, today’s party isn’t actually teaching you how to use your legs to jump from one place to another. We’re talking DIYs (or ‘how-to’s) for the spring season!

TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #244 HOW TO SPRING

Last week we actually told Spring to bring it on!

And here it is!

Happy first day of spring everyone!

What a way to start off this week’s party, right?

The first day of spring is finally here. Are temps warming up in your neck-of-the-woods? Are the crocuses ‘croaking’? How ’bout the tulips… are they “lipping”? (Well, that was a reach!)

This week, I’m sharing some fun DIYs for spring, whether you want to take on a decor project, new recipe, or maybe hit some estate sales. There’s something for just about everyone!

And don’t forget…

Be sure to hop on over to My Family Thyme to check out FIVE additional features from TTA!
If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!

Abode Adventures

This week was quite productive around the abode, but not as productive as I had hoped for the blog. Reacclimating to a new normal, with still so many decisions to be made in the near future, is proving to be more challenging than I expected. Prayers are appreciated as I have some big decision to make in the next 4-6 weeks! Eeek!

Friday and Saturday, I went to visit my son and his family. I always enjoy spending time with them, and especially my three grands! It was fun to see them get excited about the gifts I brought to them from Hawaii. My grandson especially liked the turtle made from polished rocks (actually, I got those for BOTH of the oldest grandsons, and they BOTH loved them!)

I’m writing this post on Sunday, as I’m getting ready to head out to Palm Springs on Monday. Rita from Harbour Breeze Home is attending a conference there and we are meeting for dinner.

Rita was one of my roomies over 5 years ago at the very first conference either of us attended, and we’ve been fast friends ever since! Since Rita lives in Canada, if she is visiting anywhere close to where I live, you better believe we’re going to get together! So, I’ll have a 1.5 hour trek tomorrow, one way, but it’s well worth it!

Weekly Household Tip

Well, since moving to My Wee Abode 3.0 is on the horizon, I’m thinking a lot about packing and storage these days.

If you haven’t read my post about the best organizing tool ever, you’ll want to hop on over and take a look. Not only is it a great tool for everyday storage and organizing, but I think it will come in pretty handy for the move, as well! More on my thoughts on that very soon!

Weekly Blogging Tip

I am seriously SO excited to share this blogging tip with you today!

MediaVine has JUST introduced “Journey”, it’s new ad management solution for sites that have ‘around’ 10,000 sessions!

This is big news if you are still working to qualify for Mediavine’s 50K session requirement!

Journey is built on the same technology many have come to know and trust with Mediavine.

Even if you have a different company you are currently working with for your ad management, Journey may offer more (money, tools, assistance, etc), from a very trusted and established company!

If it were me, I would make the switch, simply because Mediavine is able to offer many more advertisers to Journey clients because of the relationships they have already established. More advertisers means a higher RPM for everyone!

Also, if you are with Journey, it will make switching to Mediavine all that more easy when you qualify with the higher session minimum.

So, what are you waiting for? Take a look at Journey and let me know what you think!

tuesday turn about header link away

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

We had LOTS of link-ups this past week! It was SO hard to choose just five! We are looking forward to more and more posts coming for the spring (and Easter)!

    1. Thank you! It was a lovely visit, though I DID start a cold virus while I was with her. Hoping she is healthy!

  5. I am so intrigued by Mediavine’s now ad offer for those of us around 10,000 page views per month. I am really happy with SheMedia but you do make some good points. Also – those lemon blueberry scones look amazing!

    1. Yes… those scones look heavenly! Yeah, there’s no comparison to make, yet, so it’s hard to make a decision to change. The biggest point would be that the pool of advertisers should be much larger… and also help with everyone’s RPMs, both in Journey and MV. It’s a hard decision, though!

    1. Thanks, Kristin. I’ve been down with this nasty cold for several days. Trying to get back to work tonight!
