Tuesday Turn About #353 Summer Inklings: Spring is in the air, but there are traces of summer showing up, too!

TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #353 SUMMER INKLINGS

Last week’s party included some shenanigans.

Welcome to the party!

Do you feel summer coming on?

The patriotic posts are starting to appear, as well as posts sharing how to make summer cozy, yet cool!

We have all kinds of fun posts this week! Something for everyone, I’m sure!

Abode Adventures

As I write this post, I’m looking forward to an 8-hour shift… my third closing shift in a row. Not gonna lie… closing is my least favorite shift, with lots of manual labor going on after the Hobby Lobby doors are locked. My neck fan comes in even more handy these nights, as I flip the switch to level 3 or 4, instead of my regular “1” level I use most of the time.

My Wee Finds

While the blouses I’ve purchased this last month are quite pretty and have a casual business style, I need to figure out a cooler vibe… as in temp, not just style.

So, I’m going to try some cotton t-shirts with a linen ‘jacket’ look (blouse worn open over t-shirt). I’m going to be looking at these, along with some more expensive options, too:

Now, let’s get to some feature-fun!

Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Someday, I’ll get back to this?

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

It was a small party this last week, relatively speaking! Hope we see more this week!

    1. LOL! Thanks for the kind reminder that I spelled the word wrong! It was late, after an 8-hour closing shift at HL! I usually check ‘unusual’ words for spelling, and just didn’t even think about it! I’m glad the Lord has taught me to laugh at myself (most of the time!)

  1. Thanks for another fun party Julie. Stay “cool” at work- the blouse options are pretty. Thanks for the feature- I’m glad you enjoyed the coastal decor. See ya next week & stay well. XO-MaryJo

  2. Hope you find something cool to wear Julie – I love the shirts you’re thinking about. Wardrobe is such a dilemma somtimes, isn’t it? Good luck with all that, and thanks as always for the party. I can’t wait to see what everybody’s up to. Hope you have a lovely week!

  3. Your blouse options are all so pretty, Julie! I hope you are able to stay cool at work as the summer heat turns up. As always, thanks for hosting another fabulous party with so many fun features to explore!

  4. Julie,
I had to chuckle when I read about the neck fan as I am wearing the exact same kind now!! It has been in the 90’s here in NEPA for the past 2 days and I do not do well in this heat…This is actually my second one as I use the older one which is only 3 speeds, outside and the new one, which is 4 speeds, inside…
    My link Ups for today’s party are # 20, 21 and 22!!
Thanks so much for hosting this charming party!!! I truly do appreciate it as I do know the time involved with it….I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your week!

  6. I’ve never heard of a neck fan before. That’s so interesting. I remember closing shifts in retail. There was always so much to do. Thanks for the party.

  7. I’ve been on vacation, Julie, so I’m just now catching up. Yes, it seems we brought summer home with us on the airplane from out tropical island stay, but today we have some rain (much needed, and not nearly the amount needed). I hope you can find some cool linen and cotton looks to be comfortable while working. Do share!

    1. Thanks, Carol. Super busy here, too… but mostly with adjusting to full-time at Hobby Lobby! I miss our chats! Hugs!
