TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #344 IRISH INSPIRATION

Last week’s party was HUGE.

The party is in full swing, and we have some great ideas and inspo for the coming Irish holiday!

Are you ready?

We’ve got lots of features for St. Patrick’s Day, plus a few outlier posts that caught my eye!

So let’s get started with some DIYs, crafts, yummy recipes, and more!

Abode Adventures

Thank you all for your prayers for my aunt. She is now in a rehab center, relearning all the things that go along with hip replacement surgery. She’s doing well and keeping her eyes on the Lord!

My Wee Finds

This week, I have several items to share with you…

  • Magnetic Soap Savers are great for keeping your soaps out of water and conserving ‘suds’. I use them for my regular bar soap AND my shampoo/conditioner bars.
  • LORAC Behind the Scenes Eye Primer is a winner! I struggle with keeping my eyeliner and shadows looking good all day (they often smear and/or disappear), but the LORAC eye primer keeps my eye makeup looking good all day. Seriously.
  • Speaking of eyes… I think I shared this before, but I’ve been using the Tweezerman All Eye Shapes Lash Curler for a month now, and it works GREAT for my lashes.

Weekly Household Tip

This week, I have TWO tips for you! And, surprise, they are about eye makeup!

First, when using the LORAC Eye Primer, for added ‘sticktuitiveness’, I pat one coat around my lash lines and let it dry. Then, I pat a second coat in the same area and let it dry. This ensures that my liner will stay on all day.

Next, when using an eye lash curler, crimp the tips of your lashes in the curler and gently pump the curler about 5 times. Then, get as close to the base of your lashes (be careful and safe), and crimp/pump an additional 8-10 times. This will keep your lashes curled well while applying your mascara.

Now, let’s get to the party!

Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

We had several newbies attend the party last week! Welcome! And, we had some attendees return after a short absence, too! Hoping to see even more this week!

Keep bringing on the spring, Easter, and St. Patrick’s this week! And anything else your heart desires!

  3. Thanks so much for sharing the update about your aunt’s hip, Julie. I’m glad to hear that things went well and I’ll be praying for continued strength as she recovers. 5. Julie, glad to read your Aunt is doing well in rehab. I’m in at #82 this week, happy to join again. It’s definitely spring weather now in my ‘hood, and I couldn’t be happier! I’d be even happier if the bunnies stay on my table and NOT in my garden! Thanks for hosting us!

    1. Oh… that is too funny about the bunnies! We’ve had that same problem in past years! Always good to have you along!
