Beautiful and Useful Fall Decor Items

Spread the love

We are smack-dab in the middle of the fall season!  Fall decor continues to call my name, but living in a small home AND on a budget calls for double-duty.  Let’s take a look at some beautiful AND useful fall decor items!

As y’all know, My Wee Abode is definitely small…

We’re talkin’ 400sf small!

Yep.  I love it!

I love how easy it is to clean, how it calls me to a simpler life (though I don’t always answer THAT call), and I love to decorate it!

However, living in a small space often calls for items to have double-duty.  Decor items have to be lovely AND practical.  So today, let’s look at some lovely fall decor that is also helpful to life!  You may find that these beautiful and useful fall decor items are just what you’ve been looking for (and maybe without even knowing it!)

If you are hankering for a fun DIY that is just plain gorgeous (but not necessarily practical), check out these Velvet Pumpkins that Look Like the Pros!

1. Sherpa Fleece Blanket Throw

Such a pretty and cozy throw blanket!  It’ll keep you warm on those chilly nights! Lots of colors to choose from, but I prefer greens!

2. Fall Autumn-Time Pillow Cover

This pillow cover is pretty and will keep your throw pillows protected from spills, PLUS help make your chair/sofa a bit comfier!

3. Sun Orange Linen-Look Pillow Covers (set of 2)

Because you KNOW you need more than one pillow to make things cozy, and in decorating you always go with odd numbers.  I know… 1 is an odd number, but three makes it look more complete!  And, these orange pillow covers WITH the leaf pillow is so pretty for fall!

4. Extra Large Woven Storage Basket

You need something pretty, in warm fall colors, to place your blanket and pillows in, right?  Thought so! 😉

5. Rivet Rustic Textured Stoneware Planter

Plants can often improve the quality of the air, and they also give a sense of well-being!  This planter, with a touch of copper, lends itself to an ‘autumnal’ vibe.

6. Essential Oil Diffuser

This rustic, woodsy diffuser emits the benefits of essential oils AND has a lovely fall style!

7.  Beige Wool and Sisal Rug

So, this is more of a big-ticket item, but this will help to protect your floors and will give your home a warm, cozy fall look (that I would use year-round!). This is on my bucket list!

A not-so-big-ticket-item are these budget-friendly Mod Podge Pumpkins, that can be created for any style home!

8. Candle Holders

Candle holders add a warm, rustic ambiance to any room, AND they also help add some additional light!

And here are a few items for the kitchen….

9. Copper Tiered Basket

This pretty copper basket gives a nod to fall colors, and supplies additional storage for towels, fruit, and veggies!  What would you put in it?

10. Copper Utensil Holder

This pretty copper utensil holder would be great all year long, but the brass plate just makes me think of fall!

11. Pretty Fall Dish Towels

Dish towels are a necessity!  Who said they can’t add some ‘pretty’ to our kitchens!  And, if they are a lovely orange,  all the better for fall! (Look at the lil’ punkin’ with the pretty writing in the background…LOVE!)

Setting a Solo Fall Tablescape is another way to add autumn touches to your home that are practical, too!

12. Two-sided Chalkboard on Stand

Give me a little bit of black to ‘ground’ my decor.  Black just seems to make everything come together, and this sweet little chalkboard can be used for grocery lists or reminder notes to your fam!  Add a little bit of scroll-y vines and leaves… Poof, fall decor!
