TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #50 Coastal Summer
If you missed last week’s party, check out the ORC Plans that were featured.
Can you believe that Tuesday Turn About has been partying for a year?!
Yep, our 50th party is this week and we are thrilled to be celebrating one year of “link-up” fun with you by featuring not nine, but TWELVE posts this week!
We want to thank you all for joining us each week! This link-up party is a highlight of our week because of each of you, and we are blessed to have you all!
Summer is on its way, and what better way to enjoy the season than to add some coastal touches to our homes?
But, before we check out the coastal summer ideas being featured this week, let’s share some tips!

Weekly Blogging Tip
If you aren’t using the Tasty Pins plug-in, you are missing out on a super-easy way to add images to your post that includes all your normal image fields (alt text, description, etc.) PLUS the customized fields for Pin Title, Pin Description, and the ability to make a photo ‘un-pinnable’ with one click (for those ugly photos you’d rather not have on Pinterest).
Weekly Household Tip
Do you have a messy pajama drawer?
I did for YEARS! No matter how many times I cleaned out and refolded that drawer, in a couple weeks, those sneaky little ‘pajama gremlins’ had another party in the drawer, leaving it in a rumpled mess.
About three years ago, I decided to follow this advice from Abby Lawson, and my pajama drawer has remained neat and tidy ever since then! I dare you to try it!
Now, let’s take a look at Tuesday Turn About #50 Coastal Summer decor ideas!

Now It’s Your Turn! Link Away!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Looking forward to all the patriotic and summer posts in the coming weeks, along with all the wonderful ‘every-day’ DIYS!
Thank you for hosting! I’m off to check out Abby’s advice for drawer organizing.
Do it! 😉
Thanks for a wonderful party, hope you have a great week.
You too, Chas!
Thanks so much for including my Starfish Wall art in your features this week, Julie! I appreciate it! I hope you’re doing well. I love using Tasty Pins, too. The un-pinable feature is great. It’s especially good to use for party features to make sure that people don’t pin images from my blog that I’ve featured, making sure that the original post gets the pin. I notice you used that for TTA, too.
Absolutely use it for TTA! 😉 We want people visiting your site from if they like your image and want to know what’s “behind” it, not ours! 😉
Thank you for hosting! This is what I featured the week of 5-18 to 5-23 on my blog. On Tuesday was a Perfect Chili Seasoning Mix. Wednesday saw a Sweet Pickle Relish. Thursday was a Coffee Creamer bundle. And winding up this Week of Homemade was a Cocktail Sauce. Enjoy!
Always happy to have you here!
Happy Anniversary!!! Thank you so much for hosting the party every week.
Have a great week,
Kippi
Thanks, Kippi! Always happy to have you along!
Happy Anniversary Julie! How exciting to have hit the one year mark! Thank you so much for hosting this party. I have met some many wonderful blogging friends. And a special thank you for featuring me this week, I really appreciate it!
Your kitchen is amazing, just like the rest of your cottage! I believe I may be actually visiting WA soon… Camano Island? Maybe I can wave to you!
thanks for hosting, Julie!
Of course! Glad to have you!
thank you for the party! That featured kitchen is stunning!
Yes… the cottage kitchen from Shiplap and Shells is #cottagestylegoals for me. Not sure I can pull it off at MWA, though! 😉
Thanks so much for hosting each week!! Stay safe, healthy, happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
Thanks, Debbie! Hope you have a grand weekend!
Wow, one year already, Happy Anniversary! The three of you host a great party to visit each week – thank you 🙂
Thanks, Marie! We love having you with us!
Happy Anniversary Julie! Although I’m quite new to this party, you made me feel welcome from the beginning so that I feel like I fit right in – thank you for that and for hosting every week!
Of course! We love having you each week!
The coastal decorations look wonderful ! So perfect for summer!
Thanks, Ellibelle… so glad to see you here!
Wow – a whole year! Congratulations! 💗 Here’s to another great one ahead! I’ll have to try Tasty Pins – that sounds really handy. Thanks for all your work to host this great party – I still love it as much as the first time! 🙂
Thanks, Barbara! Yep… a whole year! So much fun and socializing, too! Love it!
Thanks so much for hosting! I do have a disastrous pajama drawer but since our drawers are made of wire I don’t think that method would work for me.
That may be tree, Joanne! I was going to ask if you share your drawers on your blog, but that just sounds WRONG! 😉
Thanks for letting me join in on the party. Have a great day Julie!
So happy to have you here, Terrie!
Your party is getting so big! Congratulations!
It was actually a bit smaller this week, but… Memorial Day, I guess? We love having everyone come and share!
WOW! That Shiplap and Shells Kitchen is amazing!!
Isn’t it??? All the sighs!
Congratulations on one year! Love your patio! I noticed layered rugs in the first photo! I’m loving layered rugs right now! Thank you for being such a gracious host! Have a great weekend!
Yes… that is the first time I have layered my rugs. Been wanting to for a while now! Thanks for joining us, Gena!
You can try! That’s so exciting! It is such a beautiful place!
