Welcome to the party!
My co-hostesses and I are SO glad to have you with us!
We are starting our 4th week at the new My Wee Abode, and I finally wrote my first post introducing our new little home! Go take a look and let me know what you think about the new place, and the new life-change! (Warning, it ain’t pretty… yet!)
Well, let’s take a look at a little bit of this and a little bit of that, featured at this week’s party!
And remember…
Be sure to hop on over to My Family Thyme and Reinvented Delaware to check out SIX additional features from TTA!
If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!
But first, how ’bout some tips?

Weekly Household Tip
I’m looking to organize a very deep and narrow pantry at MWA, and this option is looking pretty tempting!
Any tips on how to use this type of space in the most efficient way? Share them in the comments below!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Do you have a post that brings you more traffic than any other post? Take the subject of THAT post and create more content around it!
For example… If your recipe for vegetable soup does GREAT on Google, then write another post for vegetable stew, or chicken noodle soup. You get the idea!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
I’m loving seeing all the patriotic posts, and I’m looking forward to seeing more! Plus, summer is around the corner! (I’m so glad I NOW have air-conditioning!)
Thanks so much for featuring my fake plant post! Have a great week Julie!

Hey Julie! I love the pull-out drawers you have a link to! They would work great for a deep but narrow pantry! You probably know I’m obsessed with home organization and would be happy to help you! If you like canisters the OXO brand is excellent and you can put tall ones in the back, medium height in front of those, then small, then extra small on the front row! You could also use a tall basket in the back and a shorter basket in front of it. That’s not as convenient as the pull-out drawers but it’s a lot cheaper if budget is an issue! Good luck organizing your pantry! Donna
Thanks so much for the feature, Julie! I’m looking forward to your new MWA plans…it looks like it’s going to have a proper kitchen and a patio/balcony space too…NICE!!
Thanks again for hosting this lovely party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it is greatly appreciated!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Julie,
Thanks so much for hosting such a great party! love being here. Have a awesome week.
Thanks so much for sharing my lilac basket, Julie. Loved your move-in post and keepin’ it real! Hope you and your mom are getting in the groove of sharing a space. I’m looking forward to seeing your new place as you decorate.
You are so welcome, Debra! We are definitely getting into a groove!
Thanks for hosting Julie! Hugs!
Hugs back, girlie!
Thank you so much Julie and I so admire you moving and sharing your new apartment with your mom. It sounds like you have an amazing family, all of you pitching in to help with her care and well being. I look forward to seeing you working magic making your new place warm and welcoming !
Thank you, Jenna! Yes… I was thinking about how my brother is really stepping up. I was invited to a party, and my brother volunteered to take care of Mom that extra night for me. I offered to trade his regular night out for it, and he said, “I’m not worried about doing an extra night.” The Lord is doing a work, and we are grateful to Him… and my brother! 😉
I finally am posting some recipes and happy to join in! Have a wonderful week!
So glad you are here with us, Jeanie!
I have a deep pantry unit in my kitchen too and the best thing we ever did was install sliding shelves. We modified the existing shelves with slide mount hardware.
Sigh… I think I’m going to have to spend the money on this. I may try a basket solution or different levels of cannisters. Hmmm. But I like the shelf option best!
Thank you so much for hosting, Julie! Have a beautiful week.
So glad to have you with us this week, MB!
Julie, I think it’s exciting to move into a new place. Your center floor plan is similar to mine just flip the center living/dining room a 180. I think you will enjoy this open space and the vaulted ceilings. I’m loving the floors and the kitchen counter. And a big “yes” for the washer and dryer area. Hope all your new pieces fit nicely into the living room.
I’m really looking forward to how you decorate and make it your own 🙂
Hugs,
Rachelle
Oh… that is so interesting that we have the same living area/kitchen floor plan! Hope you all are doing well. Hugs and prayers!
Beautiful features, Julie–thanks for hosting! Cecilia @My Thrift Store Addiction
