Tuesday Turn About #152 Summer Seasonal Fun
Let’s party! Tuesday Turn About #152 Summer Seasonal Fun is going strong!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #152 SUMMER SEASONAL FUN
There was a little bit of this and a little bit of that at last week’s party!
Today, the party is a bit different!
Our co-hostess, Cindy from Reinvented Delaware, is taking the week off for her daughter’s wedding (congrats, Cindy!). So, Lynne and I are each featuring FIVE posts!
Even though we had a smaller party this past week, there were LOTS of amazing posts! We had a really hard time choosing just five!
But, five we DID choose!
So, after a couple tips, let’s take a look at some summer seasonal fun!
Weekly Household Tip
How do you store your remotes for your media equipment? I’m looking to find a small basket with a lid! I’d love to hear what you use! Leave your suggestions in the comments!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Something that I plan to work on in the coming weeks/months is sending out a newsletter at least every other day, even if it contains older posts.
When I have done this in the past, I usually get a nice peak in traffic each time! New readers aren’t familiar with old content, and long-time subscribers like reminders!
Is this something you might try?

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Like I said, there were SO many wonderful posts to choose from this week (there always is)! Looking forward to all the fun coming this week, as well!
Such beautiful features, Julie! Happy Tuesday! xo
Thank you, dear friend! Hugs!
Yes, “golden oldies” newsletters will be nice
Thanks, Gail! SO appreciate your input and comment!
Thanks so much Julie! Love the red white and blue features! Have a great Memorial Day!
Of course, Jenna! Yes… the patriotic decor is so fun to see!
Thanks so much for the feature Julie! I’ll be back on Thursday to link up some new posts! Big hugs!
Of course! I love your new posts!
We use an antique sewing drawer to keep the remotes; no lid but it’s easy access. Thanks for having us over, Julie!
Such a great idea for a vintage-loving home! Thanks for sharing the idea, Debra! Hugs!
Thanks for hosting! 😊
Of course! Thanks for joining us, Tina!
Julie,
hope you having a wonderful week. Thanks for hosting such a great link party!
Thanks so much for the party and the feature Julie! So many great links to check out today! I’ve tried everything for my remotes. A caddy specifically made for remotes, a basket, a fabric over the chair pocket. Finally found a universal that will run the tv, the cable, and all the apps. It has a velcro strip on the back now and actually velcros to the tv. We haven’t lost it now in years! Thanks again and have a great week!
Sounds like a very clever idea! Thanks for sharing, Denise… and you are so welcome!
I like those patriotic love bugs! Thanks for the party!
Of course, Amy… yes, I think my grands would love those love bugs, too!
Oh my goodness Julie, thank you so much for sharing my patriotic centerpiece! Such a sweet surprise! 🙂
Of course, DeeDee! Loving your patriotic decor!
Golden Oldies for the month of July sound intriguing. Go for it.
Thanks, Fernie! You are a wonderful MWA member!
Great features this week. And yay, I linked up! Better once in a while than never! LOL. Hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend.
Yep! We are ALWAYS happy to see you with us!
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party each and every week!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links and choosing Features!!! Thank You!! Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
So glad to have you with us, Debbie!
I’m not sure a newsletter every other day would work for me. When I had a packed week of post last autumn through Christmas I actually lost a lot of people 🙁
I might try to add one newsletter that is an old post to see how it goes.
Rachelle
Yeah… I may try every other day, as well. I know I get spikes in traffic every time I send one out.
I’m really loving seeing all of the pretty patriotic decor and yummy recipes. So many great ideas! Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend, Julie!
Thank you, Jen. It was a good weekend. So thankful for those that have give their lives for us. I’m enjoying the patriotic posts, too!
Julie, I hope you get the chance for a little down time from unpacking and settling in this weekend. I plant to take a little time away from garden chores, which has been my recent focus. Thanks for hosting. Enjoy your weekend, however you spend it.
Thanks, Rita. I only have one more box in the living room, and then several in my bedroom (always the last room to get settled). I have a new post ready for Wednesday. I really want to break out my camera and see how the photos will look here! 😉 I need to work on my balcony garden, as I just discovered the squirrels like my plants! 🙁 Gonna get some peppermint and vinegar spray (so I’ve read I need this).
