Tuesday Turn About #298 Spring Sensations
Tuesday Turn About #298 Spring Sensations: This week, we have LOTS of Easter and spring ideas! Plus, we have a bonus feature that I just couldn’t pass up!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #298 SPRING SENSATIONS
Last week’s party included delicious recipes for spring and fun ideas for the kids!
Welcome to the second party of April!
Not sure what happened last week… maybe it was the April Fool’s joke I played! I hope I didn’t end up pranking myself, but it was a small party!

We’ll see what happens this week! Praying that my silliness didn’t backfire!
This week, though the party was small, there were SO many lovely spring and Easter link-ups! I couldn’t narrow it down to just 12, so we have a bonus feature this week, too! Thirteen features in all!
We have lovely spring tablescapes, a yummy recipe for a spring tea, DIYs for Easter, and some lovely crafts for your spring decor!
Are you ready?
Abode Adventures
Well, today is the day! As you are reading this, I’m probably sitting in the dentist’s chair getting two crowns and a bonding done, or I’m at home recovering from being in the chair for over 2 hours! I’m thankful to the Lord that my insurance is covering so much of the procedure cost, AND that I have the money to pay for the rest!
This past weekend, we had a family get-together… just for fun! My brother organized it, and we had 36 people (13 children) all crammed-in to his mobile home. It was noisy, to say the least, but I don’t think anyone minded the ‘crowding’. All of my 8 grandchildren were present, and I missed snapping a photo of them together. We will all be together, again, for Easter, and I’ll be sure to get photos then!
Oh, and these get-togethers are already on the calendar to happen every other month! Sometimes at my brothers’ homes and sometimes at my sister’s. Needless to say, we won’t try to have it at my trailer!

My Wee Finds
Well, I did my research, and I purchased some affordable and brand-trusted barefoot shoes. These Whitin Barefoot shoes are made for extra wide feet (raising my hand here), and they are not ugly. LOL! My kids said they are actually cute.
From my research, I sized-up with these shoes. I normally wear a 7 wide/extra wide. These, I needed in 8W.
They seem to be helping. My feet are not aching at the end of a shift, and my big toe does not feel as swollen and numb. I think the feeling is coming back.
More Purchases I Made for Wide Feet and Bunions…
I realized that my support socks were also cramping my toes, so I purchased these no-show HUE cotton socks/liners. They have LOTS of room in the toe area plus they are thin and breathable.
Next on the Amazon list are these Caretras bunion correctors. Read the directions before using these… and you might even want to look-up a Youtube video on how to put them on. 😉 Right now, I’m wearing these about 30 minutes each night before bed.
Weekly Household Tip
This spice storage solution is still one of my faves. The low profile of the jars is perfect for placing on the refrigerator, and the wide mouths make it easy to insert a teaspoon for measuring! Plus, the geometric shape is pretty!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Y’all… I got hit by Google again. What about you? Let’s all pray together and ask the Lord to increase our traffic, shall we?
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

Shelley
You are so welcome, Shelley. Yeah, I’m not planning on doing surgery… and the shoes are helping SO much. My bunions are not hurting, and it seems there is some feeling coming back to my big toe. I started wearing the corrector, but I need to be more consistent. I think you would find the shoes to be a great help… and they are so affordable! I sized up one full size, and they are doing well!
