Today’s party is featuring seasonal decor for the dining area! It’s Tuesday Turn About #207 Summer Tablescapes!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #207 SUMMER TABLESCAPES
Last week’s party brought us some fabulous FREEBIES!
Summer has begun here in So Cal with temps reaching the mid to high 70s!
Welcome to the party… I hope today’s features and tips bring you some inspo and entertainment, as well!
Every season, I like to feature decor for the dining room here at Tuesday Turn About… specifically via tablescapes and centerpieces!
And this week is that time!
Whether you like to go all-out with a theme for the summer holidays, or just add some lovely color to your table, today’s post is for you!
And remember…
Be sure to hop on over to My Family Thyme and Reinvented Delaware to check out SIX additional features from TTA!
If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!
Lynne is actually taking a break this week, so Cindy and I are adding a special feature this week… “Readers’ Fave”. This post received the most clicks from last week’s linkups!
But first, let’s look at some tips!
Weekly Household Tip
Today’s tip is a tiny health tip that you may or may not know.
I’m sure you know how important it is to stay hydrated through-out the day. But, did you know that the experts suggest that the number of ounces you drink should be half of your weight? So, if you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking approximately 75 ounces a day.
Do you math correctly, or you might end up realizing down the road that you added 50 pounds to your weight by accident! Ask me how I know this. 😉
Weekly Blogging Tip
Let’s talk a bit about internal links.
If you aren’t doing this already, be sure to add at least 2-3 internal links to each post you are publishing. Internal links are links from YOUR blog that are related (even slightly) to what your current post is about.
Adding links from your own content helps to keep readers informed (making their visit more enjoyable), increases pageviews, and often extends the visits on your blog!
Next week, we’ll talk about external links!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
We are enjoying all the summer loveliness! We had more people link-up this week! Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work! 😉
Oh lucky you, mid 70’s! We’re already up to upper 80’s and not loving the thought of 90’s. Thanks so much for having us over, Julie. Have a super week!
It’s crazy that Cali is having milder weather than other parts of the country. So rare! Keep hydrated! 😉
Thank you so much for featuring my birthday flower tablescape Julie – you are so sweet! And thanks for the hydration reminder – 25 extra ounces must have been a challenge! 😊 Bet your skin looks good though! Hope you have a lovely week, my friend!
I have SUCH a hard time with getting water down, that 25 ounces was a challenge for sure! 😉
You’ve got the perfect weather! My neck of the woods has a good chance of rain for the next 7 days, but I’m not complaining because our grass is an ugly shade of brown with a touch of orange and it crunches as you walk across. Lol
Even with our great weather, I’m noticing our grass in the green belt has HUGE brown spots. Not sure what’s going on.
Thanks so much for featuring my Flags tablescape! I added a link to your blog at the end of that post.
You are so welcome! And thank YOU!
Julie,
Great tip about the water as I am an avid water drinker….I like to set aside the amount of bottles in the fridge that I want to drink in a day so it is easier to keep track of how much i drink…I gave up soda over 2 years ago and that in itslef helped so much in lessening my IBS episodes….
Thanks again for hosting this charming party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! I hope you have a great week!
Hugs,
Deb
That is a great idea, Debbie! I have my water tracker on my phone that I use… but sometimes forget!
Julie, temps in the 70s sound heavenly–it’s supposed to be 107 here in Texas, today! Thanks for hosting!
I heard it was awful there right now! I’m so sorry!
Hi Julie – I hope everything is ok with Lynne. Sending her good thoughts. Thanks for the tip regarding drinking water – and how much to consume. It’s just starting to heat up here in NY. Today will reach 84. It’s so nice to see Rachel from the Antiqued Journey was featured! As always, thank you for hosting.
Lynne is fine… she has a lot on her plate, similar to my plate. 🙁 Thanks for the comment… It hasn’t hit 84 here… yet!
Julie, thanks so much for hosting! Have a lovely weekend!
Thanks for joining!
Julie, thanks so much for choosing my summer of colors table to feature alongside such creative tablescapers! Hope you continue to have enjoyable weather — we’ve actually had sunshine two days in a row!! A good thing since my yard is getting downright spongy lol.
Oh… the spongy ground… SO gross! I hope your sun continues to shine! Our weather is so lovely, Mom and I are going to go for a walk in a bit, and then I’ll take her in the wheelchair to get a ‘real’ walk in.
