Adventures at the Abode
Thank you for your continued prayers for Mom and all of us who take care of her.
Her thrush is still alive and kicking. Womp, womp! Last night (Sunday), she was in bed at 9pm, and slept until 4:30pm today (Monday)! Y’all… this is a crazy ride!
Then, my 5th jellybean split his lip open. I’m writing this post from my daughter’s home. While she and my son-in-love are at the ER with Jasper, I’m at home with the two olders. They are both now in bed. My sister is at my place taking care of my mom who is probably wide awake!
So much to share… but I won’t this week. Just suffice to say, we covet your prayers. And we trust in a holy and faithful God, Who will never forsake us! Hallelujah!
Tips will be back next week… I hope! 😉

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Thank you all for being so understanding. Looking forward to a good week, whatever that looks like, and enjoying all your links!

Oh no – I hope everyone is feeling better! Sending prayers.
Take care, Shelley
I love all your crafts and tips. Praying for your mother. I’ve had thrush before and it’s no fun. Also, praying for your jelly bean. Hope his boo-boo heals quickly. God is the Great Physician.
Julie, you and your dear family are in my thoughts and prayers. This has been a difficult time for you.
Holding you and your family in my prayers as you juggle it all, Julie! So much that’s demanding your attention right now! Be sure to take time to care for yourself in the midst of caring for all your loved ones! Thanks so much for hosting… we love stopping by!
Thank you for hosting this link party! I feel for you, sincerely, as my sweet mother had Dementia, and my good friend is also suffering from this horrible condition. Take care.
I’m so sorry, Sally. Dementia seems much more prominent these days. It’s a very hard disease to live with!
I love all these features that you have shared. I have to admit, I am fully a Summer gal and this Winter is hitting me hard, even though we have not had a lot of snow. Coming to the link ups and getting to find new things to read is a definite pick me up. Have a wonderful week!
Julie, bless you with your family stressors right now. I know the littles fall and get hurt, but it doesn’t make that any easier either, let alone what you’re dealing with in taking care of your mom.
I loved the 11 tips for winter, and I’d like to add another – buy flowers in January and color your world! I bought one grocery bouquet, and it made 3 arrangements, lasting more than 10 days. It’s part of my tablescape shared this week (#73).
Thank you for keeping the inspiration going, no matter what our week in, week out troubles may be. Your efforts are uplifting!
Such a blessing Julie that you live close enough to help! Prayers to your family! Creatively, Beth
Praying for you and your family Julie, being a caregiver is a lot of work, I hope you can get some good rest and take care of yourself this week. Thank you so much for hosting, God is in control, blessings xx Tanya
Julie- I so admire how you manage to keep your blog going with all that you have going on in your personal life. I am thinking of you! Thank you for hosting.
Julie, thanks for providing such an enjoyable party to shoo the January blahs away! Especially when life’s been piling up. Remember to take care of yourself too. Hugs
