Tuesday Turn About #322 Yummy Fall Tastes: Fall is here, and so are these delectable and delicious recipe features!

TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #322 YUMMY FALL TASTES

Last week’s party celebrated the coming of fall.

Welcome, fall…

And welcome, y’all!

Fall has arrived, and so have cooler temperatures here in So Cal. Although, today is supposed to hit 90, but cool off again the rest of the week! We might even see some mid 70s! Wouldn’t that be wonderful!

To kick off the first party for autumn, we’ve got some savory and sweet recipes, perfect for cozier weather! Plus, some tips on how to make prepping and cooking a wee bit easier!

Abode Adventures

Well, I finished my counters!!! I’m very pleased with the look, and the post is on its way!

Next is the backsplash. I’m praying it’s a little easier than the counters and cabinets!

At work this past week, I did ‘something’ to my back and proceeded to have back spasms for over 24 hours. It was painful and exhausting. Read further to see what helped!

My Wee Finds

This week, my 11″ fan decided to die on me! I replaced it with a Dreo Desk Fan. It works quite well. The only down-side to it… it doesn’t have a handle, like my Amazon Mini Fan that died. I miss the handle, more than I thought I would!

Speaking of fans… Now that Hobby Lobby is in full seasonal swing with fall AND Christmas, I’m moving ALL the time at work! Even with the AC, I’m finding that I need something more! Enter the JisuLife Portable Neck Fan! It has 5 speeds, is super quiet, the charge lasts for over 8 hours, and I’ve only needed to use the first and second speeds! LOVE IT! (It really works!)

These mesh laundry bags are working great to wash lingerie and even delicate ‘hang-to-dry’ items. Love that there are three sizes!

Weekly Household Tip

My back spasms have resolved by about 95% in just 24 hours! How?

My dear friends and ‘trailer-neighbors’ shared what they used for the same issue…

This Auvon Tens Unit stopped the spasms within minutes. I used it 5 times night before last, for ten minutes, and it helped tremendously. It’s super easy to use, too!

Also, my friends lent me their strap on LightStim Recover Loop. It’s a bit pricey (a lot pricey?), but I have used red-light therapy several times, and it works wonders!

Weekly Blogging Tip

I’m going to take a break from blogging tips. Quite frankly, I don’t have anything new to share! Let me know if YOU do!

Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

We had so many wonderful posts this past week! Don’t you just love fall? The food, the decor, the fun!

Bring it all again next week!

  4. Oh I’m glad your back is better Julie – that’s great that your neighbors are so generous with their back-fixing knowledge and equipment! 5. Julie! I don’t know how it happened but somehow I “lost” you for awhile. The last I knew your were a caretaker in a new apt (not the over the garage one) and then the sad news of her passing and then you and your sister were going on a cruise (I think it was)…anyhow, that was when I didn’t receive your posts. So happy to see you again and I will go back and “catch up”. Hugs and Blessings always (Oh and I posted 35,36, and 37.)

  7. Thank you so much for the feature; it feels wonderful to be back. I don’t think I would’ve kept my blog going without you guys. I used a TENS unit when I had a fresh herniated disc in my neck, and it helped a lot. Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery!

    1. I need a week off to get everything done! But, that ain’t gonna happen! 😉 I’m working on it… I need to work harder! Have a great week, Rita!
