I won’t list here how many weeks until Christmas. I’ll let YOU count, if you want! 😉

This week, we have some cozy fall features, along with some features that are not about fall at all, but are still cozy. Abode Adventures

Nothing out-of-the-ordinary happening this week. Photo editing for a posts on DIY cabinet painting and countertops, Hobby Lobby shifts, persevering to get back on the wagon of clean eating… you know, the usual.

Today, we celebrate my son’s 35th birthday! I’m sitting here shaking my head as I type that last sentence. I’m so thankful the Lord, in His goodness, gave me a first-born son that has grown into a God-fearing and God-loving man. Jared and his wife (Bitsy) are raising their four children in the Lord… an answer to the prayer of my heart for a heritage of many generations that love the Lord (starting with my maternal grandparents). Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

My Wee Finds

Here are some blouses that are on my ‘wishlist’:

• Floral Button-down blouse (so pretty, and the image reviews look good!)
• Fall Fashion Top with ‘wrist’ length sleeve
• Double-layer sleeve flowing blouse

Weekly Household Tip

If you haven’t used a meat thermometer, you may want to try one. I use my digital meat thermometer all the time, and it works especially well for when I’m cooking chicken! My chicken comes out tender and moist every time since using this affordable gadget!
