A MAKER’S STUDIO EVENT
The heat wave continues here in So. Cal., but the nights have cooled down, which is a blessing! It’s nice to have an easy craft or DIY to do when the weather is less than desirable, and I have some great features for doing just that! Before we take a look at the happenings online, I wanted to share with you what’s going on at A Maker’s Studio!
I was introduced to A Maker’s Studio at the Haven Conference. You can read about my adventure HERE.
This month, we are learning how to create with Amy Howard’s Chalk Paste and the super-user-friendly mesh stencils (I have never had luck with stenciling, until now!) Be sure to sign up for the Facebook Live gathering HERE!
Now, let’s take a turn about the web, shall we?
TABLESCAPES TO SIGH OVER
This charming farmhouse table-setting from Harbour Breeze Home was done on a budget! Rita *almost* stole the centerpiece items from a well-known craft store!
I think red/white/blue can be used for tablescapes at any time of the year (okay… maybe not Christmas). Around My Table’s styling will DEFINITELY inspire you for the rest of the summer!
And what a DREAMY tablescape THIS is from Dining Delight! You know what I always say, (besides “paint it white”)… “Give me all the blues and aquas!”
FANTASTIC FURNITURE MAKEOVERS!
And speaking of A Maker’s Studio… Michelle used her products from AMS to re-finish her lovely farmhouse table! Thistle Key Lane always shares beautiful home decor!
I consider this room divider a piece of furniture. Well, at the very least , it can be used to Create A Closet in 30 Minutes! Confessions of a Serial DIYer worked her magic on this thrift store find! AMAZING, as always!
GET YOUR CRAFT ON
I love Wooden Bead Garlands, don’t you? You can learn how to make one (with tassels!) using this step-by-step tutorial I shared this week!
Fall is a-comin’! And Faeries & Fauna shows us how to preserve our own dried wheat for fall decor! I’ve always wanted a bunch of this, but have you see how EXPENSIVE they are? Not anymore… with a little help from Leanna!
Okay, at first I wasn’t quite sure about this… but the finished product that Nancy from Artsy Chicks Rule created is beautiful! I love what the shadows in the pics did for the overall look….
This beautiful home tour…
Talk about a transformation!
Let’s get ready for COLLEGE!
Ooooo, so we can buy more decor…
I would put THIS Old Stuff in my house!
Okay… give me all the WHITES, too!
And one more ‘nod’ for the turn about… Make a Farmhouse Window Sign!
Lots of fun stuff this week, huh? I think these are definitely some of the best blog posts on the web. Let me know which is your fave (okay… it doesn’t HAVE to be MINE! 😉
