Hey friends!  Our week has just begun, but how is yours going?  It was a busy weekend, and I’m working on a project to share on Saturday, but thought I would start something new on Tuesdays.  Tuesday Turn About, that is… the best blog posts across the web!

Do y’all enjoy a great Jane Austen book or movie?  If you love Pride and Prejudice by the BBC, we just may be kindred spirits (wait, that’s from Anne of Green Gables… I’m getting a bit mixed up!)

(BTW, if you want a really great way to organize and ‘hide’ your DVDs and other disk media, take a look at this Nifty DVD Storage Idea!)

What is a Turn About?

So, do you remember in Pride and Prejudice, and other Jane Austen literature, after everyone at the party is finished with dinner and they’ve retired to the parlor?  Do you remember how some are playing cards, and some are reading books, and others are conversing, and then one person will walk up to another and ask, “Do you want to take a turn about the room?”  And then they proceed to walk around the parlor, chit-chatting, usually about silly things that actually have a lot of underlying meaning (this always seemed so foreign to me, but it has always ‘stuck’ with me, ya know?). As they continue their turn about, they acknowledge others with a sweet little nod and ‘check-out’ the activities that their fellow party-goers are doing and enjoying.

What Is a Tuesday Turn About?

I started following blogs about 2.5 years ago.  I REALLY enjoy looking at ideas, projects, décor, and crafts that other ‘creatives’ are sharing online. I’m thinkin’, since you’re reading this blog,  you just might like to do the same thing!  So each Tuesday, we’ll be ‘visiting’ other blogs to see what is going on in the ‘room’. Won’t you join me today as we take a turn about Blogland?!  This is going to be fun! (Oh, and please be sure to ‘pin’ from original post… not from here! 😉 )
