Tuesday Turn About #259 Welcome July: It’s the month of patriotism, and marks mid-summer, too! Let’s party with some fun for the 4th and more!

TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #259 WELCOME JULY

Last week, we shared lots of home tips and tricks.

Happy July, everyone!

Wow, June came and went in flash, didn’t it?

Are you ready for the 4th? What are your plans?

Well, whether you are just adjusting to the high temps or getting ready for a big bash this week, we’ve got something for everyone!

And, one feature is from a long-time blogger that is returning to blogging after a one year break. I just had to feature her!

Abode Adventures

This past weekend was all about cleaning… tanks, filters, and more filters.

On Friday, I had Joel from Kleen Tank come and do a deep cleaning on all my trailer tanks. The company uses a process that includes hydrojetting technology with the tank — without using damaging chemicals. This process not only leaves the tanks clean as the day it was manufactured, but also cleans the sensors. My sensors are now reading accurately.

The company also suggest using a ‘home recipe’ to keep tanks clean and fresh, versus the enzyme products that are out on the market. I’ve started using the recipe, and I’m looking forward to how it helps keep the trailer tanks clean and happy!

Let me know if you want more info, or visit their site to get educated about… well, you know.

My Wee Finds

Okay, I know I’m old, but has anyone else noticed how BRIGHT the vehicle lights are at night? Like blinding-bright!

Well, I had enough of it and purchased some night vision glasses. Y’all… I used them last night for the first time and these are a game changer! No more placing my hand over the sideview mirrors!

With temperatures rising across the country, I know these little fans could be a relief to LOTS of us! I purchased them this week, and they have been great at my desk, and I’m even using two in my bedroom! Easy to direct where you need the airflow and simple to place just about anywhere!

Weekly Household Tip

Want a great tip for spice storage? I use magnetic tins with pretty labels and then attach them to my refrigerator door. However, recently I’ve had some changes in thought and decided I needed to trade out the tins for glass spice jars with stainless steel lids (BPA free, too).

Also, did you know that spices can clump-up if they are too close to the stove or oven? The clumping is from moisture that is created from the heat of the appliances. So, keep your spices in a cool, dark space, like the pantry. If you don’t have that luxury (like me), keep them in a spot that remains as cool as possible.

Weekly Blogging Tip

Recently I took a webinar class from Simple Pin Media on how to create aesthetically pleasing Pins.

One of the tips I took away was to create Pins with fonts and colors that are trending with your audience. One way to easily get this information is to ask ChatGPT. For example, “What fonts are trending with Generation X”? Or, “What handwritten fonts are trending with Baby Boomers?”

You might be surprised what you find out.

Now, let’s get to the party!

Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

TTA Banner Heading 3

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

Well, that’s a wrap this year for all things red-white-and-blue… at least for the party! Can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer brings to this get-together!
