Tuesday Turn About #271 Fabulous Fall Food
Tuesday Turn About #271 Fabulous Fall Food: Today, the party is all about food. Cozy, comforting recipes for lunch, dinner, and desserts!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #271 FABULOUS FALL FOOD
Last week’s party featured fun “Falloween” posts.
Welcome to the party!
It’s officially the first week of fall!
AND, today is TWOsday! Two posts on the same day!
It’s been a while since I participated in the Pinterest Challenge monthly blog hop, but, I’m BAAAAACK!
And since the Pinterest Challenge is all about pumpkin recipes, why not kick-off the first official week of fall with some warm, cozy, and comforting recipes!
We’ve got Asian, Mexican, and American dishes to peruse. Plus, hearty soups, appetizers, desserts, and even a fun recipe to do with the kids!
So, let’s get this party started with some Finds and Tips!
Abode Adventures
Let’s see… this week is kind of a blur. Not sure why. (A cold might be coming on!)
I DID spend 4 hours grocery shopping on Sunday! I hadn’t done major grocery shopping in about 3 weeks, so I needed all the things. Since the stores I shop at are all close together, I choose to go where I get the deals and the quality. Thus the 4 hour shopping trip. It doesn’t bother me. I actually enjoy the time alone, but it did exhaust me!
And then I had this post due today, as well as my Pinterest Challenge post! Did you see it? Scroll down and you’ll find the link and a sneak peek!

My Wee Finds
Baking muffins is a normal activity now here at MWA. I can whip them up in 15 minutes (made from scratch), and then have them for breakfast twice during the week, and as a snack two other days. I was using silicone muffin liners, and they work great, but they are a bear to clean. So, next time, I’ll be trying these parchment muffin liners.
Another ‘bear’ I was wresting with was my dishrack. So I just purchased this new dishrack, and I’m liking it much better. I now have full use of my sink! (The other one sat inside my sink.)
Again, with all the cooking I’m doing, I’m in need of extra measuring spoons. So I ordered these teaspoons and tablespoons and plopped them in a small mason jar. I’ve used them dozens of times, and it’s only been a week!
Weekly Household Tip
Let’s stick with the measuring spoon idea, shall we?
If you find that you are having to wash and rewash your measuring spoons while you are cooking or baking, why not get some loose teaspoons and tablespoons. They are the most used measuring spoons on the ring, and you won’t have to stop ‘creating’ to wash and dry something that you need to use during the same cooking session!
Weekly Blogging Tip
How is everyone’s traffic these days? I’m hearing lots of bloggers saying the last Google update was a killer! These are the times where I do my best, and rest in the Lord. He has all of this under control, He is faithful, and He is the Provider for His children.
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
We had quite a few new bloggers that linked up this past week! So fun, and welcome, y’all! Looking forward to this next week, and all the fall projects, DIYs, crafts, and recipes!
Julie,
I would be tired after 4 hours of grocery shopping too! I have been buying bulk when things are on sale…so much so that there s no more room in my pantry closet so I am well stocked for the upcoming Winter months…which will keep my grocery bills down when my heating bills go up…
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are having a great week!!
Hugs,
Deb

That is so smart! My friends and I bought a freezer together and just purchased 1/4 cow. The freezer helps with bulk, but other things, not so much. I have to be careful with my tiny home!
Wow! That’s a lot of recipes. Thanks so much.
Yep… and so much yumminess!
Thanks so much Julie!
