Tuesday Turn About #268 Hello September
Tuesday Turn About #268 Hello September: The party is live, and I hope you all are alive! Read on and find out why I’m wondering, “Is anybody out there?”, as well as some fun fall features!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #268 HELLO SEPTEMBER
Last week’s party was all about falling for household tips.
Hello??? *tap-tap-tap* Is anybody out there?
If you’re reading this, well of COURSE you’re there… and here!
Last week’s party was just a bit lonely! I’m not quite sure what happened, but there was less than half of the link-ups we normally have here at TTA. I’m still wondering if there was some technical issue I couldn’t figure out. Can anyone enlighten me?
I’m hoping it was just a fluke, and that we get LOTS of link-ups this week! Thank you to all that were able to make the party!
So let’s jump right into things and welcome in September with some autumnal inspiration!
Abode Adventures
It’s the beginning of the month, and I promised you all an update on my wellness program with New Life Promise.
I’m still loving it! But I did gain this month…
I gained more mobility (almost no aches and pains with the exception of my left knee that suffers from a longtime trauma injury… but that is 95% better). I gained more education in the area of my health. I gained better sleep habits. I gained the addition of exercise to my week. I gained an overall sense of well-being (I told Nika this weekend, “This is the best I have felt in years.”) And I gained the contentment and peace that comes from knowing this is all from the Lord, that He is with me, and all the glory goes to Him!
Oh! And what did I lose?
Another 6 pounds, bringing my total to 18.6 pounds lost in 8 weeks. Woot-woot!
Yesterday being Labor Day, I went ‘off-plan’ a smidge… nothing that will affect me in the grand scheme. Today, I’m back to the new ‘norm’ for me!
BTW… weather report: After a nice break in the temps this last week, we are looking at the HIGHEST temps for this summer yet! Thursday and Friday are promising over 100* temps! I can’t even.
Tips and Finds will return next week, as the holiday weekend caught me off-guard and I’m writing this post at 9:45pm after all the holiday ‘fun’!
So let’s party!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
