Tuesday Turn About #293 Happy March
Tuesday Turn About #293 Happy March: It’s the first party of March, and we have a little bit of everything, for everyone!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #293 HAPPY MARCH
Learn what “springster” is from last week’s party.
Welcome to the first party of March 2025!
Easter and spring are just around the corner! Can you believe it?

This year, Easter is a bit later… April 20, to be exact.
And the first day of spring is exactly one month BEFORE Easter! March 20 we will welcome the next season of 2025.
Not sure what happened this week, but the attendance was quite low on link-ups. BUT, there are still plenty of inspirational, creative, and downright fun posts!
Features this week include spring decor inspo, DIYs, a recipe, and a pretty fun(ny) post for the kids!
But first…
Abode Adventures
It’s the beginning of the month, and that means, good or bad, a health check-in is in order.
Since last month, I actually gained about a half of a pound. I continued to struggle to get back on track, and the Lord was merciful to not let the weight pack on!
Soooo, Sunday I spent some time prepping for the week. I now have 16 meals ready for the week, my fridge is stocked with healthy, daily snacks, and breakfasts of eggs, smoothies, fruit oatmeal, etc., are ready to be eaten!
Things are going better for my daughters and their post partum. Continued prayers are appreciated and coveted! Babies are doing great!

My Wee Finds
I ended up returning the jogger pants I ordered… mainly because I was convicted that I didn’t need any new pants until I lose a bit more weight. 😉 However, instead of the joggers, I’m going to try these Libin Golf Pants when I order next time. What do you think?
Do you sleep better on cold nights when you wear socks? Lately, I’ve found that I need some socks to keep my tootsies warm in order to fall asleep! However, I don’t like wearing my everyday socks to bed because they feel a bit constricting. That’s where these fluffy sleep socks come in! Cozy and warm, and the top edge is relaxed making these the perfect socks to snooze in!
The only jewelry I wear is a Tinker Bell pin on my HL work vest, and earrings! I love me some pretty earrings! And these silver lotus earrings are on my wishlist!
Weekly Household Tip
Not sure if I’ve shared this tip before or not, but I HATE using a squeegee on the shower! You know, to help with residue and water stains?
Well, I HAVE to keep the moisture to a minimum in the MWA bathroom, considering I’m using a trailer-style shower. So, I’ve found these microfiber towels to work GREAT! They absorb the water quickly, easily wring out, and dry super quick, too! And they reach those areas in the shower that a squeegee can’t! Woot!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Last week, we talked about sending a newsletter out at least once a week.
This week, I want to share that your newsletter doesn’t always have to include new content. If you don’t have a new post (*rolls eyes at myself*) each week, there are lots of new subscribers that might have missed your past content. And long-time subscribers appreciate reminders, too!
So go ahead and send a fresh newsletter that contains tried-and-true faves from the past!
Now, let’s party!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Thanks for joining the party today! And be sure to tell your friends about the party, too! Looking forward to more spring, Easter, and everyday home/family posts!

Well done for prepping all those meals! It’s so good to know there is healthy food ready and waiting for you.
Yes, Lisa! Thanks for the encouragement!
Julie, thank you for hosting. Wishing you a fabulous weekend!
Fabulous week is what I meant. Here I am, already dreaming of the weekend, haha. Have a great Tuesday!
Hehe… Yes, always dreaming of the weekend!
I used to always sleep with socks on – the perimenopause hit – now I sleep with as little on as possible – every night *sigh*
Yes, I understand about menopause side effects. I’m thankful I’ve never had hot flashes. But I have definitely had other issues!
Happy March, Julie! I’m so impressed and inspired by your meal prepping… It makes such a difference when staying on track. Good for you! I’m also so happy to hear that the young moms in your life are feeling stronger each day. I’ll be keeping them in my prayers! Thanks, as always, for the party, and most especially for featuring our “Brush Your Teeth” post!
Thank you so much, Laura… You are always such an encouragement!
I’m so impressed by your meal prep, Julie. I need to start doing that! Love those golf pants. (You’re helping me grow my Amazon wish list! 🙂 ) Thanks for hosting!
The prepping is really quite easy. I just have to have the time, which should be coming soon! 😉
thank you for including my Lovin’ Lavender post in this week’s features…..hugs!
Of course, Penny! Hugs back!
Hi Julie! Thanks so much for including my Oatmeal scotchies this week. I hope you were able to bake up a big batch.
You are so welcome, Estelle.
Julie,
It was 16 degrees here for 2 mornings and now we will hit 50 today…Typical weather for NEPA!
My Link Ups for today’s party are # 14, 15 and 16!!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well…
Hugs,

Our rain starts tomorrow, for four days, supposedly. Then a break for two, and then it starts again. We’ll see what the Lord ACTUALLY has planned! 😉
I am a socks to bed kind of gal, if my feet are cold, I just can’t fall asleep. I am going to have to check them out at your link. Thanks for hosting, have a great week ahead!
I can’t sleep with cold feet either, Melynda. So good to have you with us!
I’m with you on squeegeeing the shower! It seems all the microfiber cloths I’ve tried don’t absorb the water so I’m going to give these a try! And don’t get discouraged about your weight! You’re doing GREAT!
Thanks Susan! I hope the cloths work for you, too! I DO squeeze them out several times while I’m wiping down.
Thanks for having us over, Julie. I’m going to check out your sleep socks!
They are working very well for me! I have them on right now!
Thank you for featuring my MCM record cabinet, it is most appreciated
Of course, Lee Ann!
You need to write a post about how you prep that many meals! I could use some help with breakfasts and lunches, but I plan pretty well for dinners! Thanks for hosting and sharing my egg topiaries! I appreciate it so much! Have a fabulous week!
Well, maybe I will write a post about meal prep! Thanks for the idea!
Wow 16 meals! What a time saver!! Thanks for the feature this week Julie and the excellent blogger tip! Hugs to you!
Thanks, Michelle! Hugs back!
Hi Julie- I thought I left a message but I don’t think it took. Anyway, congrats on getting back on track. I know it’s hard and your meal prep is impressive. I love fuzzy socks and those look amazing. Thanks for hosting us and have a great week. Also, last week when I visited I did not find your link up post. Not sure why. Maybe that’s why attendance was low? xo- MaryJo
That is so strange that the link-up wasn’t showing. Not sure what happened, but I bet that was the problem!
Thanks for hosting, Julie, have a great day. Yes, sometimes the scale is not in our favor, but you have everything under control now with your awesome meals ready to go. All the best.
