Tuesday Turn About #191 Jump Into Spring

Spread the love

Welcome to the party! We are getting ready for the turn of the season, believe it or not. It’s Tuesday Turn About #191 Jump into Spring!

TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #191 JUMP INTO SPRING

At the last party, we celebrated with flowers!

It’s the last day of February! Can you believe it???

If I remember correctly, the first party of February landed on the first of February this year! Funny coincidence, huh? (Maybe not. LOL!)

This week, we are going to start jumping into spring with some tips and tricks for the season, and a sweet project that you can start now!

But First, an Update…

Last week, I was laid-out-flat with a bronchial cold that started two Saturdays ago, and then a stomach bug that hit the following Monday. At least I THOUGHT it was a stomach bug.

Thankfully, Mom has stayed well this whole time, and I am now starting to feel like my normal self. God is good, even in the hard times!

What About My Car?

There is GREAT news on the car front, as well!

The insurance company DID end up totaling my Corolla. The good news… they gave me $1600 more than what the car was worth! Praise God!

AND, it took me one day to find my new-to-me Camry with low mileage, and it cost less than what I received for my Corolla! Praise God, number two!

What’s more… my Camry is the same color as my Corolla was, which is my fave color of green! EXCEPT, the Camry looks amazing… my Corolla… not so much! God blesses us, even in the small details!

Be sure to hop on over to My Family Thyme and Reinvented Delaware to check out SIX additional features from TTA!
If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!

Weekly Household Tip

A little bit more about my stomach bug.

I normally take Bee Keeper’s Propolis when I start to feel a cold coming on, and after one or two doses, I’m good to go!

However, THIS time, I took a bit more (no more than the recommended dosage), but I think it was too much. See, I’m allergic to bee stings and, unbeknownst to me, you aren’t supposed to take bee products when you’re allergic to bee stings!

I think the stomach bug was actually my system “dumping” the propolis, especially since no one else ended up getting it.

And my point is…

So, my household tip for this week is, if you are allergic to bee stings, don’t use bee products! LOL!

Weekly Blogging Tip

Today, I want to talk about a blogging mistake many of us make (I’m raising my hand very high right now).

Many of us tend to blog about things that only interest ourselves. Remember, our audience may have a wider range of issues that need to be resolved, and we can help them with that, even if it’s something we might not need help with!

So, step out of your comfort zone, and address problem areas or interests that concern your readers. Your followers will thank you… and me! 😉

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

It’s such a joy seeing all the spring posts coming out! Really looking forward to the season! We are definitely either getting late winter rain or early spring rain here in So Cal! Loving it!

  4. What a week you had! I’ve had my own @#$%$# car week. My ever reliable car sprayed coolant all over the engine when my daughter was driving it on the highway. She’s fine but the car’s a goner. Repairs would cost more than the car’s worth sigh . . .

    1. Thanks, Kristin. We both know how hard it is on our elderly mothers when they get sick along with their dementia. I’m very thankful she hasn’t been sick since her bout with C 18 months ago. 🙂 You are so welcome for the feature!
