TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #336 WELCOME 2026

Last week’s party, we prepped for the new year to come.

Happy New Year!

Are you ready for the new year?

Has your new year started off with a bang, like mine?

God is good, even when things are hard. He provides… and He even performs miracles.

Because this year started with lots of ‘surprises’, we’re going to have a quick party.

No features this week. Womp, womp…

However, next week? We’ll have double the fun with 24 features. Twelve from this past week and 12 from this week’s link-ups.

So be sure to link up!

Abode Adventures

My uncle (my mom’s sister’s husband) had a heart attack this past week and was without oxygen for over 15 minutes.

He was resuscitated when he got to the hospital and put into a medically induced coma and placed on life support.

We all prepared for the worst. Really. I was even praying for the Lord to start giving wisdom and comfort to my aunt and her immediate family (that came from several different states, and rallied around my aunt).

It didn’t even occur to me to pray for a miracle.

But it occurred to my sisters at work!

In the lunchroom, I shared with a couple of Christian sisters what was happening, and we prayed together. They both prayed the Lord would perform a miracle.

And that’s what the Lord did!

The next morning, as they brought my uncle out of the coma, he became alert and immediately started responding. By the evening, he was talking and joking. The next day, he was eating!

Seriously… a miracle!

Changing the subject…

The saga continues with my trailer roof. I’ll fill you in more next week because I’m exhausted from my shift at HL, and then dealing with the trailer today.

Now… be sure to link below. The party will be EXTRA big next week!

Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Be back next week!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

Thanks for understanding. I also need to get ready for my opening shift tomorrow (Tuesday), and then I head out for a 2.5 hour drive to my son’s house. I get to spend some over-night “G” time with the two youngest!

Be sure to link-up all the winter tips and tricks, and even Valentine’s Day ideas and decor!

    1. Thanks, Lynne… I have some parts for the roof (we are going to replace the vent covers, and praying that will be the end.

  2. Happy New Year! Here’s to an excellent 2026! So glad to hear the fantastic news about your uncle! God is good! Have a fabulous week!

  3. Yes, the Lord is good 😊
My first husband was without oxygen for 25 minutes – was given up for dead when being shifted from livingroom to ambulance … God resurrected him (there were witnesses), which scared the EMT who were prepared to take him to the morgue: they rushed him to the local hospital where every test imaginable was run on him for 3 days: no discernable reason he died, or was resurrected. But we enjoyed another 37 years together before he graduated to heaven the winter of 2018 at age 69.
Miracles do happen – thanks for sharing the good news about your Uncle: may he enjoy many more years with your family ❤️

  4. I love a good miracle story! Thank you for telling us. It’s strange how we can love the Lord so much, pray all the time, and still not think to pray for a miracle. Especially when he’s in the miracle business! Love your sweet heart and mind. Hope your time with the grands will be restful and refreshing. Happy new year friend. Big hugs. Oh! Thanks for the party too!

    1. Thank you so much, Cindy! Couldn’t have said that better myself! Big hugs back… so glad to have you with us this week!

  5. I’m certainly late to this post (it’s almost time for the next TTA!), but I wanted to shout my praise for the miracle that occurred with your Uncle! WOW!
I hope you’re able to get to the source of the trailer roof leak, Julie. I have had water issues in my past, and I know how draining they can be.
