Tuesday Turn About #277 Hello November
Tuesday Turn About #277 Hello November: The month that hosts Thanksgiving is here! And we are welcoming the eleventh month of the year with open arms!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #277 HELLO NOVEMBER
Last week’s party was full of fall flavors.
Welcome to the party AND the month of November!
Can you believe we are heading to the end of 2024? I know, we all say that every year, right?
To welcome the last full month of fall, I thought we’d take a look at a variety of features at TTA.
We’ve got recipes, home decor trends, Thanksgiving crafts and decor, some decluttering ideas, and a whole lot more!
Are you ready? Well, first let’s take care of the TTA tips and tricks!
Abode Adventures
My first full week at Hobby Lobby was completed on Saturday. The work is enjoyable and fun (I’m at the cash register full-time), but my “dogs are barkin'” by the end of each day! And, my back hasn’t been too happy either!
But, I’m getting used to it… I think. The Lord is faithful and I believe my ankles are continuing to get stronger. Grace upon grace!
Thank you all for your prayers, both past, present, and future!
It’s the beginning of the month…
… and you know what that means? Healthstyle check-in!
The month of October saw a loss of 4.3 pounds. This brought me to a grand total loss of 26.4 pounds!
It’s been a challenge to eat healthy this week, but with God’s strength I was successful for the most part. I picked up food twice, but both times were poke bowls, so lots of fish, veggies, fruit and brown rice. I did some meal prep this past weekend to help with staying on track at home. 🙂

My Wee Finds
My hands are a dried-out mess from working with so much paper all day long. I’m going to try some beef-tallow balm at night for my hands… I hear it works wonders! I’m trying out the Vintage Tradition in Epic Glow. Have you used beef-tallow products?
In the past, for my nails, I’ve used a glass nail file. These work great, and I’m hoping it will help keep my nails from splitting and peeling. It’s helped in the past!
Take a look at the reviews for these bed sheets! I’ve got them added to my wishlist! They sound amazing!
Weekly tips will be back next week… because I need to get to bed!
But first, let’s party a bit! This week, I had a harder than normal time choosing just 12 features, so we are going with 14! We’re doing my modified version again this week. I ALMOST made it to the regular format… hopefully next week!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Please let me know if any of the links are not working. I’m skipping my regular editing routine for the post because my back is giving out! I need some sleep! 😉 Thanks for going along this loving journey the Lord has me on! I appreciate you all so much!
Julie, thank you for hosting and for adding my fall tablescape to the list of features. I appreciate it very much. Have a great week!
You are so welcome!

I’m praying for you, Deb!
Well done for losing weight! Glad your new job is going well. Getting used to the different physical aspects takes some adjusting for sure. Thanks for hosting the link party this week.
Thanks so much, Linda! I appreciate the encouragement.
Oh thank you so much for featuring my “Coloring through the Book of Psalms” post. I so appreciate it. I used to work the register at JoAnn’s and it was my least favorite job. The customers were so terrible. My favorite part was stocking or doing plan-o-grams. I personally haven’t tried beef tallow, but if you have a dog, watch out! My friend put it on her face, and her dog just wanted to lick her face! 🙂 And congrats on the weight loss, I did have a question on the program. Did you buy just the initial 4 week or are you subscribed for the full year? And do you recommend the full year if you did.
I’m enjoying the customer contact… have only had one customer that comes to mind that needed an attitude adjustment. Well, maybe two! 😉 No pets, so o issues with the ointment. I think it’s starting to help, too! I originally just purchased the first 4 weeks of New Life Promise, then, when I realized what a great fit it was, I figured I would purchase a year of LiveSmart. At $12/month, it’s been totally worth it!
Oh wow! Thank you so much for the feature! I am so glad you are doing well at Hobby Lobby. Your weight loss journey is an inspiration for me to continue my own. Thank you so much for sharing!
You are so welcome, Kristen. I’m struggling to cook with adjusting to the new job. I’m giving myself grace, and being careful.
Great features! Thanks for hosting!
Shelley
Thanks for dropping in!
Thanks so much Julie! Congrats on your weight loss and your job, take care~
Thanks, Jenna! It’s proving to be more difficult to cook with the acclimation to the new job!
Julie, you always have a filled week! Sounds like all is going well, and thanks so much for hosting! Melynda @scratchmadefood!
Even more so now! LOL!
I am so happy for you and your weight loss. About that new job, as it will take a century to get used to it. I think your tallow salve will help but you also need to drink lots of water. That will also help with ankle swelling. Our joints need moisture and lots of it, so drink on and you will enjoy your job more if you are more comfortable.
Thank you, Fernie… Things are already improving. Normally, I drink 1/2 my body weight in ounces a day, but difficult to do at work when I can’t visit the restroom all day long. So I’m trying to get it in in the morning and evening. Ankles are doing great! Thanks for the advice!
Thanks so much, Julie! Yay for all the good news!!!
Glad to have you with us this week, Pam! Hugs!

Gosh, Julie, I sure hope this job will end up being good for you. It sounds like a lot of physical adjusting. Congrats on the job and the report on healthy lifestyle! Joining this week in Thanksgiving. I’m in the midst of a huge project of relocating an elderly sister back to WV, and am praying for a smooth transition in travel, packing, purging and resettling her – things you’ve had a great deal of experience in of late! Thank you for hosting the party.
Oh, praying for you, Rita! I hope it all goes well, and smoothly. BIG hugs! So glad you dropped in!
