Tuesday Turn About #288 Wintery Hearts
Tuesday Turn About #288 Wintery Hearts: The party is double the fun this week with features from the last two parties! We’re talking winter and Valentine’s plus a whole lot more!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #288 WINTERY HEARTS
Last week, I shared about a new addition.
Well, we have a BIG party this week!
Welcome!

Last week was a modified version of the party with no features because of the new grandbaby that finally arrived!
So this week, we are doubling-up with TWENTY-FOUR features in all!
We have winter ideas, Valentine’s recipes and DIYs, plus some decor tips and more!
Are you ready?
Abode Adventures
This weekend, I was able to travel to my son’s home and FINALLY meet Miss Clementine. I was there from Saturday morning and decided to make the trek back home on Sunday night instead of staying one more night. Good thing, because they got a surprise snow on Sunday night! I wouldn’t have made it back in time for my shift at HL!
My daughter and daughter-in-love have BOTH been blessed with easy newborns. Clementine and Merrin love to eat, sleep, and, well, you know. 😉

Both daughters are healing and recuperating well. Thank you for your prayers. Nika, especially, had a hard first week, and it seems the Lord is balancing out her hormones more and more each day!
My Wee Finds
Here are a few items I’ve purchased in the last couple weeks:
- These crevice cleaning brushes are perfect for those hard-to-reach areas. I plan on using them to clean places that like to retain moisture and cause mildew issues in the trailer.
- Cross-body fanny packs seem all the rage these days. I gifted this one to my daughter as a “pick-me-up” just before the baby was born. She loves it!
- These large salt and pepper shakers are great for cooking, and even for storing parmesan in the fridge. However, I plan on using them as a container for “clean ingredient” DIY body powder! More to come on that project!
Weekly Household Tip
If you want to clean around the base and edges of your sink faucets, and any other areas that retain water/stains, try the brushes I mentioned above with a mixture of 1:1 white vinegar and water. Then, rinse thoroughly!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Seems like Google may be picking up some momentum again. At least for MWA. How ’bout you?
Keep sharing content and helping your readers! It’s the best thing WE can do!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
It was so much fun to choose 24 features this week! Keep all those Valentine’s, winter, and home posts comin’!

Hi Julie Congratulations! How exciting! They are precious! Going back to catch up on your blog! xo laura
There’s not much to catch up on, except for TTA! Life has been a roller-coaster! It SEEMS like it is settling down, and maybe now I can get more work done on the trailer… my cabinets are screaming at me to finish!
How blessed are you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope I will have that one day. Great job on the blog for today too.
Thanks, Josee! I hope you have one, too! Praying for that blessing for you!
Congratulations Julie, on your two new darlings!! I’m so glad you got to see them – and still get home before the snow. Thanks so much for featuring my chocolate brown ribbon table – that’s so sweet of you! And thanks too for hosting the party – I always love it!
You are welcome, Barbara. Yes… a snow-in would have NOT made my manager happy… at all. He had a fit when I called in when my daughter went into labor. *rolls eyes*
So cute!!! Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the party and the Vday mantel feature. Have a great week Julie. XO- MaryJo
You are so welcome, MaryJo!
Thanks so much for the feature! You have sure been one busy grandma! I so happy to har everyone is healthy and recovering!
Thank you, Michelle! Yes, it’s been a bit crazy, but things are settling down now… with family and HL! Praying I can FINALLY get my cabinets finished!
Those babies are so sweet! I’m sure it was difficult to tear yourself away from them.
I’m so thankful that my daughter and her fam live just about 15 minutes away, and my son and his fam are a bit further at 1.5 hours. But, it’s not Brazil! It’s so fun when I have them all together!
Julie,
Adorable babies…
My Link Ups for this week’s party are # 91, 92 and 93…

Thanks, Beth! I’m enjoying all the cuddles, for sure. And you are so welcome for the feature!
Aww, it so cute when everyone shares the little ones. Hope your Winter goes easier. I am so ready for Spring!
Thanks, Jennifer! I’m still enjoying the cold weather here in So Cal… just wish we would get some rain. Usually comes late in winter or early spring.
Such sweet blessings for your family! So gad you were able to meet little Clementine and beat the storm, too! Thanks for the party, Julie!
Thanks, Laura! God is good, all the time! Hope you and yours are doing well!
Those baby jelly beans are so, so precious, Julie! I’m glad Nika’s past that first week too, and hope she continues feeling more herself, and comfortable in her Mommy role. I love the babies’ names.
And talk about a party! My goodness there are some fabulous ideas, and more this week too. I’ve set the table (#112) for Valentine’s Day, with the universal love and symbolism of cardinals front and center.
Thank you for the party. I hope you’re continuing doing well with your p/t HL job and your healthy lifestyle.
Thank you so much for the extended comment, Rita. You are so kind! I’ll have an update on my health this week! Nika continues to do better each day. Her hubby is off for two more weeks, so they are starting to work in a new normal routine, as Nika homeschools her first two, and has a toddler, as well. Thankfully, Merrin sleeps well and is on a schedule, and her other three are a delight, too! My son and DIL also homeschool and are trying to get a new normal, as well… Jared (my son) works from home, so that is quite helpful!
