More Ideas for Name Place Cards for Fall or Thanksgiving
These sweet place card tags can be used for lots of different projects!
- Make an adorable and affordable garland or bunting to string across a mantel or bookcase! Just punch some holes at the top of the cards and string twine through them.
- Use two or three as clip-art on a blank card. Cut them out, tear the edges off (like my picture at the top of the page), and glue to the front of the card! (Make sure to stagger them a bit, for added interest!)
- Attach to a hostess gift at the next dinner you are invited to. (A cute little velvet pumpkin is always a hit!)
- Glue these fall tags to popsicle sticks and place them in a few pots with mums! (Another great hostess gift.)
- Can you think of another way to use them? Be sure to share with us in the comments below!

These are so pretty, Julie! I adore placecards for all sorts of things – assigning seats, labeling buffet items, or just inspirational words and quotes and these are gorgeous ones!
Thanks so much, Janet! You are so sweet!
Oh those are so cute Julie! I love how you scalloped the edges too – really a nice touch. I could see them as jar labels for a gift of jelly or jam. Or for clues for our little scavenger hunt-type game our family plays every year. So many options. I just love your creativity! 💗
That is such a great idea… labels for jam! Thanks for sharing that, Barb! Hugs!
I love these! I like Barbara’s idea for using them for jar labels for a gift. If you lived close to me, I’d be sitting on your sofa with you learning how to make creative things like this.
If we were neighbors, I think we’d be doing all kinds of things together and learning from each other! 😉
So pretty, Julie! Can’t wait to give these a try. Thank you!
Yay! Let me know if you use them, and how! Hugs, dear framily (friend and family?)!
These are pretty! The torn edges are a nice touch.
Thanks, Alexandra… I was inspired by another blogger (we often are, right?) 😉

Thanks, Kerryanne! I’m always glad to link-up!
I do love your placecards, Julie!! They are very pretty! I didn’t make any as at the time I was racing the sun going down to shoot photos… I realized afterwards that I didn’t get any on the table and had to just go with it. 🙁 Oh, and the cute small white velvet pumpkins I made last year? I can’t find them!! I think they must have gone up into the attic when Mr. Ethereal was putting stuff up there late this spring/early summer. That’s why mine didn’t make it to the table or mantle. I DO need to find them to get all the pumpkins together in one big box, though. 🙂
Will try and dowload your files so I can make some cards later on, thank you!
Big hugs,
Barb <3
Oh, I hope you can find your pumpkins! It was fun hopping with you!
