Tuesday Turn About #5 The Best Blog Posts on the Web
Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I’m back to share Tuesday Turn About #5 the best blog posts on the web! Let take an online tour and see what our friends have been up to!
It seems y’all really like Tuesday Turn About… I’m SO glad! You really don’t know what a blessing it is to hear that y’all are enjoying these ‘strolls’ we go on each week! Is there anything you would like to see that I haven’t featured? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll go on the hunt! In the meantime… shall we? (Oh, be sure to save your favorites on Pinterest, but hop on over to the original blog post to pin! Thanks!)
By the way, if you are new in My Wee Abode’s neighborhood, take a look HERE to see where in the heck I came up with the series called “Tuesday Turn About”!
TEMPTING TABLESCAPES
Every time I go searching for tablescapes, I am always drawn to Lori’s tables at Dining Delight! Check out this beautiful fall table setting… I LOVE those birch candle holders!
This green table setting with natural elements is so striking to me! The sisters at The Welcomed Guest sure know how to set a table… and they should! They’ve been collecting tableware for years! (Take a look at that ‘flatware’!)
Kim at Sand and Sisal has my heart! Aquas AND fall???? Yep… and a couple sweet starfish for good measure! 😉 My type of tablescape!
FABULOUS FURNITURE MAKEOVERS
This oval table is SO lovely! Again, Jenn does her magic and turns the ordinary into extraordinary at Eight Hundred Furniture.
Do you know what a RAST is? If not, you really need to find out from Doreen! If you do know what a RAST is, you really need to check out this hack from Doreen… at Hymns and Verses!
Leanna at Faeries and Fauna has a lazy susan tutorial that is so easy, so practical, and SO pretty! You’ll want to visit the blog, so you can see the lovely detail under the centerpiece!
GET YOUR CRAFT ON (and even some decor!)
Okay… I’m SO jealous (of course in the most godly way! 😉 ) of Marissa’s find at the Goodwill! People… six bucks for this wonderful caddy! It even spins! Squirrels of a Feather shows you how to make a piece of ‘junk’, shine like this!
Ooooo, I SO want to try my hand at gilding! I have the gold leaf and sizing, ready to use, and Michelle from Thistle Key Lane has given me the inspiration! Easy peasy, but packs a punch! (Talk about one of the best blog posts on the web!)
Okay… so I have a wee confession to make. Recently, a Facebook group asked the question, “What is one design trend everyone else loves that you can’t get behind?” And I answered “macrame”… it reminds me of my mom’s 70s planter hangers that were EVERYWHERE in our home! But these… these macrame ‘feather charms’ from Julia at Cuckoo 4 Design are easy, and so pretty! I’m a convert… at least a semi-convert. 😉
And here are some random finds that I fell for!
This super nifty and covert CD storage!
These sweet graphic fall pillow covers!
Thinking about buying a couch?
Love me some Dollar Store fall decor…
Pinecones for fall… YES!!!
Simple for fall, but makes a statement!
And, in case you missed it that past weekend… Fall Pillow Pairs from yours truly (lots more on the post)!
Okay… what was your favorite this week? Again, let me know if there is a craft or decor genre that you are interested in, and I’ll check out some fun links for the next time! (Just leave a comment below!)
See y’all on Saturday!
As always it’s a great collection! Have no idea what a rast is, so I better go find out. Apparently, autocorrect doesn’t know either, as it keeps trying to change it to “fast”. Oh the mystery!
LOL!!! Weird, I had to approve this comment, which I don’t with you anymore… Did you use a different email address? And your gravatar isn’t viewing either. Hmmm. Did you see what a RAST is? I have one, just itching to be hacked!
Gorgeous post! I am trying to pin so much of it, but there are no pinning buttons showing up. Thought you would want to know.
Thanks, Holly… No pinning buttons, because you need to go directly to the post to pin. 🙂 If you post from my site, you will just come back to my site all the time, and you won’t get the tutorial.
Such beautiful articles!! I love a pretty tablescape. A pretty table makes everyone who sits down to it feel special and loved.
I’m with ya on the macrame! The bag IS adorable!
Thanks, Kay! Yes… those feather charms are SO pretty! And, I always LOVE seeing the tablescapes at the fair. It’s always been one of my favorite displays, even as a young girl. So, yes, pretty tables are a little bit of luxury for me, too! 😉
Thank you so much for including my Berries & Birch Tablescape in your round up!! I’m honoured to have been chosen from so many wonderful blog posts out there and also to have been included with the other fabulous ones you’ve highlighted. So fun!
Oh, Lori, I’m so glad you stopped by. I always LOVE your tablescapes, and I have a feeling I will be featuring more. Always a pleasure to see your art! 😉
There are some beautiful posts this week. I love this series. Thank you for including me. Pinned
Thanks, Leanna! I love featuring F&F! 😉
What a great round-up! So much to drool over and get inspired by. Thanks for including my pinecone post 🙂
I obviously love pine cones as much as you do, since I featured them on two different round ups! LOL!
