Tuesday Turn About #325 Big October Fun
Tuesday Turn About #325 Big October Fun: The party is BIG this week and includes twenty-four features of fall decor, recipes, crafts, and more!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #325 BIG OCTOBER FUN
Last week’s party was postponed until this week!
Welcome back to the party!
As promised, it’s a BIG one this week!

Because life has been so busy, I had to postpone the features from last week, and include them this week.
There are TWENTY-FOUR features, in no particular order, but there are 12 from last week and 12 from the week before.
We have lots of fall decor, DIYs, crafts, recipes, and more!
Abode Adventures
Well, I’ve been ‘down-for-the-count’ since last Tuesday night, though I DID work at Hobby Lobby on Thursday and Friday. Fortunately, I was off on Saturday for a family event that ended-up being canceled. So I stayed in bed the whole day and by Sunday I was feeling much better!

My Wee Finds
Taking lunch/dinner to work can be a bit cumbersome, especially trying to fit a lunch bag in my locker. So I’m on the hunt for some new ‘gear’:
- This fully insulated square lunch box/bag is pretty, and I think it might be just the right size!
- This travel utensil set will help to keep my silverware from poking through the bag!
- It seems I always need a good paring knife in my lunch box, and this one comes with a sheath.
- A travel salt and pepper shaker is a must… I’ve already bought this set and it’s working great! Plus, it carries a lot more than a teaspoon of each spice!
Weekly Household Tip
After boiling chicken breast for salads, I found it difficult to clean the pan from all the chicken residue.
Recently, after removing the chicken, I started covering the pan again. After it’s cooled down to just a warm temp, I take a pan scraper and scrape the residue around the rim of the pan and in the leftover broth/water and then cover it again. After it’s completely cooled, I simply pour the residue and water in a half gallon freezer bag and toss it.
You might even want to strain it and save the broth for some soup!
Now, let’s get to some fun features!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
PHEW! Now THAT was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too! Can you believe I had to pare down from over 40 features??? I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… I wish I could feature everyone each week!
Have a blessed one, and I can’t wait to see what you have to share this week!

Glad you’re feeling better. Thanks for the party.
Glad to have you here, Amy, as always!

I’m sorry your family event was canceled but it sounds like you benefited from a day of rest! So glad you are feeling better, Julie! We’re thrilled to be included in this week’s features!
You are so welcome, Laura! Hugs!

I just looked to see that it has been a long time since I did a ‘new post’. I worked on photos last night and got them done for the cabinets. Realized I wished I had gotten more! I hate when you get involved in a project and forget to take photos! (All that to say, we are all busy!)
Happy Tuesday! Thank you so much for featuring my post about Fall travel to Sandals Resorts. It was such a lovely thing to wake up to! I hope that you have an absolutely amazing week!

I LOVE brown transferware… even the ‘look’ of it. We had a knock-off at HL that sold out VERY fast. NOW the gingerbread dinnerware is the hot item! Another knock-off of Pottery Barn.
Thanks for hosting Julie! Happy to hear you’re feeling better. Gotta take care of yourself sweet friend!
Thanks for linking up, Michelle! I always miss you when you aren’t here… and miss you in general!
