TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #263 FREE PRINTABLES AND MORE!

Last week’s party was HOT… Hot home DIYs, that is!

It’s party time!

Are you ready to end July with a bang?

tuesday turn about banner new

When I started perusing all the link-ups this past week, I was hoping to get a plethora of free printables… and I did! Just not quite twelve of them.

So, this week will feature all kinds of printables, plus some organizing, and DIY home decor.

And for the first time, I’m actually featuring a blogger twice! You’ll see why later in the post!

Abode Adventures

This past week, I spent time with ALL my grands… even if it was just a little time with the ones north of me. They were running a necessary errand here in my county, and we visited for an hour. It was good to be with them.

And, each week I always see my grands that live locally, but this week was a bit more than usual. We TRIED to watch the Olympic Opening Ceremonies but, WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK?! SO many things to complain about. I won’t even go there. Definitely not family friendly this time.

On to more exciting news…

At least for me! And I KNOW y’all are just waiting with baited breath for my “healthy results” (it’s easier than typing “new eating plan results”). 😀

This past week, I’m down another 3.6 pounds!

We have a running total of 11.6 pounds in three weeks!

Now, I’m not expecting to lose that much each week. I’m actually hoping not to. I would like to lose it slowly, keep it off, and not have my hair go into shock and lose what little have! 😉

This week, I want to share a few images of my meals:

From left to right, Best Gluten Free Pancakes (made into waffles) with blueberries, broccoli/egg omelet with fresh tomatoes, Chicken and Veggie Quinoa Skillet, Ground Beef Stir Fry

Every thing I have made has been so good! I thought I would give you just a sample of the healthy, easy, and yummy recipes.

This is Week 4, and I will be writing a full post about the plan the week after. Be on the lookout!

My Wee Finds

With all the cooking I’m doing, especially in the evenings, I’m finding I’ve needed a few tools in the kitchen, like these trio of cookie scoops. No, I’m not making cookies… yet! But these are great for the yummy meatball recipes that tend to get ALL OVER my hands! Not any more!

It seems I never have enough spatulas these days. How ’bout you? Each of the spatulas in this set are one piece (no seams) and are heat-resistant up to 446 degrees. Plus, they are kinda pretty!

There is lots of peeling going on here these days. I purchased this vegetable peeler once before, but it somehow got lost in the move, or I left it at my sister’s at the last holiday get-together. :-/ Anyways, I love it!

Weekly Household Tip

Do you use a squeegee to wipe down your shower after each use? I never have, until I moved to MWA 3.0. Now, it’s a must. However, I found that these extra plush microfiber cloths do a MUCH better job, and it’s quicker!

Just wipe down, and when the cloth gets a bit too damp, squeeze it out, and continue wiping. They launder great, too!

Weekly Blogging Tip

Y’all, I’m awful with time management. I mean, really awful.

This week, my MasterMind group encouraged and challenged me to create a daily block schedule. One of the gals said, “It changed my working-at-home life big time several years ago. Try it!”

So, I’m gonna create an Excel spreadsheet to start things off, and I’ve got a deadline to finish it by this week.

Do YOU need to get control of your blogging schedule? Let me encourage and challenge you to create a spreadsheet, or use an app, to help you make the best of your time, too!

Now, let’s get this party started!

Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

TTA Banner Heading 3

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

Will you be using some of the printables above? I know I will! And some of the decluttering and management tools, too!

Looking forward to all the links this coming week! See you in August!

  4. Julie,
Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed the opening ceremonies of the Olympics….I thought it was a feast for the eyes with all the architecture, art, fashion, music, especially the heavy metal segment during the depiction of the French Revolution and Marie Antoinette, etc….I am really looking forward to the closing ceremonies…But to each their own…

    1. Thanks, Debbie. It’s interesting. I have read several comments on the FB group for my eating program that have come in with IBS, and after starting a healthy balanced diet without inflammatories, are healed! Of course, their drs. have all approved the program. 🙂

  5. Hi Julie! Thank you so much for featuring my “Little Luxuries” post. You host an amazing link party and I’m so glad to be a part of it!

    1. Thanks, Michelle! It’s all the Lord… I’ve been trying so hard for so many years, and then not trying for so many years. I’m so thankful the Lord brought me this tool to enable me to do what He is calling me to do.

  6. So many great printables! I’m cheering you on with the weight loss – that’s amazing! I am slugging through my healthy eating plan, but I’ve been at a weight plateau for quite some time. Have a great week, Julie!

  7. I am so terrible with scheduling too; I always have good intentions but never create a spreadsheet to get organized. I’m still a fly by the seat of my pants type gal and likely won’t change now. It’s hard to teach this old dog new tricks lol.

Thanks for hosting Julie and have a great week!

  8. Thanks for the party. Congrats on the weight loss. I didn’t watch the olympics opening ceremonies but I heard about it and saw all the offensive photos. Definitely not family friendly.

  9. Morning Julie, Once again, a great party. Helped motivate me to change a few seasonal touches around the house. Our daughter and her 5 kids are coming over this morning. With their traveling for vacation we have not seen them in over 2 weeks!

  10. LOVELY features this week Julie! Thank you for including my Free Printable Back to School Notebook cover with the rest of the inspiration. Have a great week! Creatively, Beth
