Tuesday Turn About #262 Hot Home DIYs
Tuesday Turn About #262 Hot Home DIYs: Today, we’ve got some great DIYs and crafts that you can easily complete for your home!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #262 HOT HOME DIYS
Last week’s party was all about yummy summer recipes!
The party is live! Welcome!
Are you ready for some fun DIYs you can do for your home?
This past week, there were lots of fun home decor and crafts shared! And I figured y’all would enjoy it if I featured a few! They are “hot” home DIYs simply because of the heatwaves happening across the country! 😉
We’re talking furniture makeovers, summer wall hangings, easy fajitas, and home decor that will inspire you. Plus, a whole lot more!
Abode Adventures
By God’s strength and grace, I completed Week 2 of my new healthy eating program.
I’m down another 1.6 pounds! Not nearly as much as last week, but I didn’t expect that much each week, and I wouldn’t want that either! Fast weight loss causes all kinds of issues like hair loss, plus, it’s easier to put the weight back on.
So, that’s a total of 8 pounds so far!
The recipes continue to be super yummy! This morning I had ‘apple almond butter oatmeal’. It was delicious!
I’m planning on sharing a complete blog post about the program when I finish Week 4, but if you want more info now, just contact me via [email protected] or leave me a comment. (BTW, no affiliate income or commission is being made by me with this wonderful plan.)

My Wee Finds
Whoa… I’ve had LOTS of finds in the last two weeks. And with Prime Days happening this past week, I took advantage and purchased some things I needed here at the trailer.
One of my fave breakfast recipes I’ve had the past two weeks is Blueberry Almond Butter Overnight Oats. It’s delicious! However, I had gotten rid of my mason jars before I moved, so I needed something to mix the recipe in. These small, wide-mouthed, sealed jars will do the trick! I’m excited to use them!
My daughter wanted a ‘special’ electric toothbrush for her birthday, so I obliged. 😉 She gave it such rave reviews, and my toothbrush was starting to poop-out, so I picked one up at 35% off! It really does work great, and is a healthier choice than other brands. (As of this writing, there is a $10 coupon to redeem upon purchase!)
My dear friend Crissy, from First Day of Home, turned me on to these little gems! These under-table drawer slides can be mounted under a desk, a table, or even used for RV dinette storage! I can’t wait to share how I use them! 😉
Weekly Household Tip
Soooo, a few weeks back, I featured “Tips for Using Aluminum Foil” from Robin at Fluster Buster. One tip I wanted to try was wrapping celery in aluminum foil to keep it crisp. Normally, I don’t use aluminum foil for food storage, but I tried it, and it worked! No more limp celery for me! (I love celery, so I’ve been eating more than usual with my new healthy choices.)
Weekly Blogging Tip
Did you hear the latest news from Google?????!!!!
Google is keeping “cookies”! Now THAT’s what I call a super yummy cookie!!!
I think that news is a great way to kick-off features! 😉
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
