Tuesday Turn About #319 Fun Fall Features
Tuesday Turn About #319 Fun Fall Features: We’ve got lots of fall decor, tips, tricks, and recipes this week!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #319 Fun Fall Features
Last week’s party we shared some August shenanigans.
Welcome to the first party of September 2025!
Are you ready to switch your date from “8” to “9”?

September is one of my fave months of the year, and I’ll share more of the ‘why’ in just a bit.
However, ONE thing I love about September is the official season of fall begins!
And, this week, we’ve got some great features for autumn! We’ve got decor, tips, a back-to-school craft/gift, and some cozy, yummy recipes!
Abode Adventures
More reason why I love fall?
- My son will turn 35 this month!!!! (He was just a toddler yesterday, wasn’t he?)
- My sister gets one year closer to joining me in the 60s. She gets to enjoy her last year of being in her 50s starting on the 6th.
- One of my fave aunts has a birthday just two days after my sister.
- Temperatures are already going down, starting this week.
- I get to see all the fall posts from YOU all!

My Wee Finds
I’m on the search for some items to help with my damaged nails. I struggle with ridges that eventually split and keep my nails from getting to a decent length. I’ve heard great things about the Manucurist products and the Green Base SOS is on the way. I’ll keep you updated on the results!
My fine, thin hair needs a boost each morning when I style it. The KMS Add Volume Volumizing Styling Spray has been my go-to product for years! I just apply it at the roots of my damp hair and blow-dry.
These mesh laundry bags are great for delicates and even slippers! A must for when you use the Washin’ Jax.
Weekly Household Tip
This week, instead of a household tip, I’m sharing a fun new craft I ‘discovered’.
Have you all tried diamond art painting? Hobby Lobby has little kits each season that include everything you need to create seasonal art for your home! It’s a no-brainer activity so it’s fun to create while you watch TV, listen to a podcast, or enjoy your favorite song playlist! (The website says ‘out of stock’ on many of these, but they are readily available at your local store! And there are LOTS available on Amazon!)
Weekly Blogging Tip
This week, our tip comes from Melva at Melva Loves Scraps:
“My blogging tip is one I learned while I was a “beginner” quilt blogger and participated in a group of other new quilt bloggers. It is to always ask a question to engage your readers. It doesn’t always have to be “quilt” related (in my case).”
Great tip, Melva! Thanks!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
It was a smaller party last week, so I’m hoping for more links this week! Thanks for coming and sharing, and perusing, too!

Thank you so much for the lovely feature!

Thanks for joining in!
Thanks for hosting…I know my traffic was way down last week, everyone enjoying the last summer’s hurrah, or dragging kids to college, one or the other. Great group this week, Sandi
Yes… life is busy this time of year, for sure, Sandi!
Thanks so much for featuring my hydrangea post! Happy September and thanks for hosting!
Shelley
You are so welcome!
Happy September, Julie! The temperatures are already going down a bit here, too. The beef stew and chicken casserole leave me wanting to get busy in the kitchen for some hearty fall meals. I’m happy to join this week at #86 with a tablescape that easily shuffles from summer to early fall. Thank you for hosting!
So good to have you with us, Rita!
