Tuesday Turn About #302 May Happenings
Tuesday Turn About #302 May Happenings: We are starting a new month in 2025, and we have all kinds of inspiration with all the things in May!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #302 May Happenings
Last week’s party was a project palooza, with 24 features!
Welcome to the first party of May, 2025!
Seems like I JUST said that about April, right?

This week, we have Mother’s Day ideas (it’s THIS weekend, y’all), patriotic inspiration, home tips and tricks, and more! We even have a feature of tips to instantly give you a slimmer look!
Let’s get to it!
Abode Adventures
Guess what?
I have ANOTHER cracked tooth! They say I’m getting old. Well, they are a bit kinder when they tell me, but that’s the gist!
And, while I am typing this post, I have a repairman taking a look at my water heater that decided to stop working during the middle of the night. I’m praying it is just a switch issue, as he says this is often the case.
This be me…

The Lord continues to provide. It can be a bit anxiety inducing, but HE is faithful! Always has been, always will be! (Update: I just ordered a new water heater. Sigh. It’s all good.)
Now, if we could just get Google to be as faithful, right? 😉

My Wee Finds
Here are some great household items that I use all the time:
- GORILLA GRIP BPA-Free Heavy Duty Ice Cream Scoop (Okay, I don’t use this all the time, but it’s the best ice cream scooper I have used!)
- Gorilla Mounting Putty (Can you tell I love Gorilla brand products?)
- Cutting Board Rubber Feet (I recently used these to replace the feet on my 40+ year old sewing basket. Worked great!)
Weekly Household Tip
This past week, I modified/altered a standard shower curtain to fit the tiny shower in my RV trailer. The post is coming, but in the meantime, I use these shower curtain magnets and magnetic weights to keep the curtain from flying around inside the shower! (Don’t you hate when that happens?) It also keeps the water inside the shower, and off the floor!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Be sure that your Pin buttons and images are working properly on your blog in order for others to be pinning your content! Then test it when you change things! (Click on your photos and see what happens!)
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
It was really fun perusing all the posts from last week’s link-ups! Looking forward to more patriotic posts, summer, and more!

Sorry to hear about your tooth. Right before our trip, I had to get some work done on a tooth as well. Glad you were able to get that new water heater. Wishing you a smooth week. Take care.
Oh no, another cracked tooth? I’m sorry. And you had to buy a new water heater too? When it rains it pours. Thank you for the party.
Aww, Julie! Thank you so much for featuring my post on how to layer decor. Miss you and love you! xo

That crocheted doll is just to die for!!!!!!!!!! I had all boys and no grands yet but if it ever happens that would be a lovely gift. I don’t understand how to get one. Bless you!
I’m so sorry about another cracked tooth, Julie, and your water heater! But, yes, the Lord is faithful!! 💗 Thank you for hosting and for featuring my photography post!!
Julie, so sorry about your tooth. I have a broken foot so I know it’s no fun when everything isn’t working right. You can’t chew and I’m not suppose to walk.
