Tuesday Turn About #252 Middle of May
Tuesday Turn About #252 Middle of May: It’s already the middle of the month, and we have some great DIYs in-store for you!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #252 MIDDLE OF MAY
We had DOUBLE the fun at last week’s party!
Welcome to the party, AND the middle of May! Can you believe it?
This week, there were lots of DIY posts, whether they were recipes, furniture upcycles, or even teacher appreciation gifts! I’m so excited to be sharing THIRTEEN features with you this week!
What are you doing that is fun in May? Maybe one, or more, of the features will inspire you!

Abode Adventures
It seems that the clutter is just about over! (I think I said that last week, right?)
There is a sofa that can be sat on now! Woot! And the dinette table and seats are almost completely cleared, as well.
I’ve been organizing and reorganizing. I’m told that’s normal when you are living the travel trailer life!
Do you remember last week, I asked if you could spot something ‘odd’ in this photo?
Besides ALL the clutter, you may have noticed that my ‘slider’ is not pulled out all the way. This is because the pad where MWA sits does not have the space to have the slider extended the full three feet. There is about 1.3 feet of slider that remains ‘unslid’. But, it is working thus far. I just don’t have that cabinet side on the left available for hanging things, or maybe even adding a drop leaf counter.
Oh, and just so you know… the seal on the slider has been waterproofed, and we’ve had a rain already. No issues! Thanks, Dan (my trusty travel trailer consultant). 😉
I have a HUGE list of little things that need to be done. Not really fixes… there are only a couple of those. But more like organizing, etc. LOTS of posts to come!
My Wee Finds
This week, I’ve done more shopping!
Did you know there are mini bungee cords? These are going to come in handy to strap things into place so they don’t drop out of the cabinet. It’s hard to explain, but I’ll show you in an upcoming post. What would you use these for?
Moisture and humidity are a travel trailer/RV’s enemy! For the first time in my life, I’m wiping down the shower after I’ve bathed. These coral velvet cloths are super absorbent and quick drying, as well. Plus, they are pretty! Great for any type of home!
This collapsible magazine file folder organizer is great for holding household paper products, as well as printing paper and manuals. I’m using two of these so far! (I used one in MWA 2.0.)
Weekly Blogging Tip
Just a reminder this week.
Don’t get bogged down with what is going on with Google. Write posts for your audience that you know they will enjoy!
Feeling a bit of burn-out? What drew you to blogging in the first place? Go back to your ‘first-love’ and write similar posts now! Do a DIY that you enjoy… and just take pics with your phone! Make it easy and fun! Your readers will love it… they will ‘hear’ the fun in your writing voice!
Now, let’s party!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
I’m looking forward to summer posts along with patriotic posts, as well! Also, I’m looking forward to getting back on the link-party circuit myself! It’s been a long break!
