How to Make a Wood Leaf Garland

This easy early fall DIY was fun (and a little challenging) to make!

Though the leaves I used are sporadically available (I’m thinking the lumber industry sometimes has difficulty providing them to Hobby Lobby), there are other options for this wood leaf garland, including some different shapes that scream fall, as well!

Although this neutral fall cloche isn’t a ‘real’ DIY, it does take a few minutes to put together.

This is an easy fall vignette to add to your home, and you can usually find the items by ‘shopping’ your house!

  1. I love that each one of these DIY’s seem easy and doable. Thanks bunches for including my vintage looking pumpkin. I’ve been in a mild panic because I cannot find them in the fall bins! I do this to myself every year. Days later while putting out Christmas stuff I find some fall thing I forgot to put away and put it somewhere then adamantly tell myself to remember this. I should be saying STOP BEING LAZY AND PUT IT WHERE IT GOES BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU WON’T REMEMBER! Ayi yi yi!

    1. I totally get it, Cindy! You COULD use my bin organizing system! 😉 That would eliminate the issue, if you actually used it (which I also get!).

    1. Thanks so much, Shawna! I’m bummed that Hobby Lobby didn’t have the leaves this year. Hopefully they will be back next year!

  2. You’re so kind to share my pumpkin flower arrangement, dear friend! (By the way, am I the only one who accidentally keeps typing a “g” at the end of “pumpkin”? Ha!) I love all your fall DIY projects, especially some of the MWA ones you highlighted, like those gorgeous velvet beauties. Happy Fall!

  3. This is a wonderful round-up of ideas, Julie. I still think your velvet pumpkins are the most beautiful I’ve seen, but I like all the other ideas, too! I’m pinning this to my Autumn board.

Thanks so much for joining the Grace at Home party. I’m featuring you this week!

    1. Thanks, Richella! I love my velvet pumpkins, too! (I think they are number one on Google! Woot!) Blessed to be featured… and a great weekend!

  4. Such a lovely fall round-up post Julie.
