Homestyle Gathering 9 | Your Homekeeping Destination
It’s time to party with some of the most wonderful bloggers in Blogland! Homestyle Gathering 9 is live!
HOMESTYLE GATHERING 9 | YOUR HOMEKEEPING DESTINATION
So many lovely posts this last gathering. It was a joy to visit each one! And, we are so happy to have each blogger and reader join us throughout the week.
This week is ‘guest host’ week and we are pleased to have Roxanne from The Honeycomb Home joining our regular hosts, Kim from Serving Up Southern, and ME!
Here’s Roxanne!
Welcome to Homestyle Gathering
You guys, there are so many talented, creative people in blogging. I was asked to guest host today by one of my blogging friends who hosts Homestyle Gathering, which features some inspiring decorating and DIY ideas from bloggers.
If you happen to be a blogger, feel free to link up your project at the end of this post, you have until Saturday to do so. Your project may be featured and you also may be asked to co-host a future gathering. If you’re not a blogger, hopefully, you’ll find some ideas to inspire your next project!
Meet Your Hosts:
Here’s what we’ve been up to lately:
My Wee Abode
Spring Kitchen Tour and the Comparison Trap / Free Spring Printable
The Honeycomb Home
Choosing the Right Rug Pad and Why It Matters / The Secret to Perfect Throw Pillows
Serving Up Southern
How to Hide The TV With A Drop Cloth / How To Make A Stacked Log Fireplace Screen
And now for this week’s features:
You have to see the before of this nightstand makeover, such a great transformation! I love the extra details added in the drawers.
I love this gorgeous chair that was completely reupholstered by Cindy at Reinvented Delaware.
This unique table was beautiful to begin with, but I love how it was transformed with paint and stencils.
Even though this isn’t really home decor related (though it is styled so beautifully) I had to pick this one because I drink a ton of tea. I’m not a coffee drinker at all, but I drink tea the way others drink coffee so to know there are health benefits makes me happy. I want to also mention a few weeks ago I was sick with an upper respiratory infection that kept me up coughing at night. For the first few nights I had an arsenal of medications on the nightstand, none of which help. On the third night, I drank a couple of cups of hot tea with honey and literally didn’t cough once all night.
This small bathroom makeover packed a nice amount of design into a small space.
Time to Link Up!
Since this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other links and spread some love. Pins and comments are always welcome.
Before you get started, please review some rules:
- This party is for home decor and related home-keeping posts only (recipes, organizing, anything home-related). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please NOT link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there… that works perfectly.
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media. We will always give proper credit.

Thanks for hosting, Julie. Lovely features! Hope you’re having a great week.
Thank you for joining us, Bev. Still trying to heal from this awful cold, but have meds now, so should be on the mend! 😉
Thanks for hosting Julie and I hear ya on the head cold. I have been fighting this for several weeks and it just won’t let go. It makes me weary and I am drinking almost nothing but tea and honey. Nothing tastes good as all I taste are cough drops. LOL I do try to look at the bright side of any situation…the eternal optimist for sure…and that is I have dropped a couple pounds. Not the 15 or so I would like to be rid of, but enough to not feel bloated. LOL Hang in there dear friend and this too shall pass.
Kari… I am SO with you! EVERYTHING tastes sour… it’s awful. I’m finally on meds, but they don’t seem to be working. We’ll see. I’m here in FL now. Hoping I don’t have to get another prescription while I’m here! 🙁
Thanks for the feature Julie!! I really appreciate it :). Hugs and I hope you feel better soon!
So glad to have you each week! Hugs and hearts!
