Tuesday Turn About #223 Fall This and That
Tuesday Turn About #223 Fall This and That: The party is REALLY big this week, and it includes a little bit of this and a little bit of that for the fall season, and more!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #223 FALL THIS AND THAT
Last week’s party, we sang ‘Fallelujah’!
Welcome to the HUGE party!
This week, Lynne is taking a break, so I’m sharing TEN features… I wish I could have shared one from each of you… but my time this week…
Abode Adventures…
My mom is STILL healing from the shingles (saddle shingles, to be exact), and the healing has been worse the last week than it has for the whole three weeks since diagnosis. Alzheimer’s and shingles together is no joke.
To be brutally honest, I’m in survival mode right now. Though I DID get a nice break today, and it was very refreshing. Thanks, DeeDee!
And, more transparency… I’m writing this at 10pm Monday night! I TOTALLY forgot about the post!
So, even though I’m sharing 10 features this week, it will be extra brief! Pinning will happen tomorrow, and, I’m so sorry, but I haven’t been able to comment on featured posts (or even answer all my comments this week).
I told you I was on survival mode!
Please be praying that my mom will have a miraculous healing, and that the Lord will give me much grace, mercy, compassion and patience. (This is my mantra this past week.)
Tips will be back next week!
Please be sure to visit the featured posts! It would make my day, and the featured bloggers’ day, as well!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Thank you ALL for understanding my situation this week! I really appreciate you all so much!
Oh, Julie, I hope you get some rest soon. I’ll keep you and your mom in my prayers this week, for sure. You chose great features, and I appreciate the party, thank you!
Thanks, Pam… I know Mom is going through the worst of all of this, but it sure is difficult on this end, too! 🙂
Wishing your mother all the best and sending lots of prayers to you both! Thank you for featuring my simmer pot post. As usual, your link party is so inspiring!
You are so welcome, Missy! And thank you for praying!
Oh Julie, I don’t know how you do it, you are truly an angel. Thank you for the party and I will be praying for you and your Mom…
Thank you, Jenna. Believe me, I DO NOT feel like an angel right now! My temper is HOT! Though I have not done anything wrong, I understand why some caregivers lose it, and can abuse their patients! I feel so bad that Mom has to go through this. And with memory loss, it adds all kinds of ‘worse’ to the situation for her! Thanks for the prayers!
Oh wow! Thanks so much for featuring my backyard patio and porch! I so appreciate it!
You are so welcome, Amy!
Julie, I’m so sorry your mom is having to deal with shingles! Praying for you both during this difficult time! Thanks for hosting such a great link party and for featuring my pillow organization post! I appreciate it so much! Hang in there!
You are so welcome, and thank you for the prayers, Donna! Hugs!
Oh, Julie, you are both in my prayers. Praying for strength for you and perfect healing and comfort for your mom. May rest come more easily for you both.

Hi Julie! I love the phrase “Fallelujiah”. Ha! Love all of the 10 features! Thank you for hosting! No doubt this week was extra work for you.
Thanks, Anna… I’ve had some time off this week, so it’s been better. I’m thinking this has pushed another decline level with mom, so she is now extra all the time. Part of the disease. :-/
Oh Julie! I’m so sorry your mom is still struggling with the shingles and I am sure it’s hard on both of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers friend. Thank you for hosting with all of this going on & I appreciate the feature. XO- MaryJo
You are so welcome, and thank you for the prayers! I think the colloidal silver gel is helping her.
Always so much wonderful inspiration, Julie! Have a wonderful week!
Creatively, Beth
You, too, Beth! Hugs!
I hope your Mom is feeling better soon Julie ❤️ caregivers get run down too so I hope you are able to rest too. Prayers for you both 🙏 thank you for hosting us each week!! Hugs-Tanya
Well, there was a week and a half there where I was really running on empty, when my sister was gone. But, I’m a bit better now, except I feel a cold coming on. Never ends! Have a great week, and thanks for joining the party!
Fabulous fall ideas this week, Julie. I enjoyed both MaryJo’s and Lora’s displays of brown transferware and pottery. I have collections of both, and still enjoy them many years later. I enjoyed all the inspiration. Have a great rest of the week,
Thank you, Rita! Yes, they both have great style for vintage!
