Tuesday Turn About #305 Fun Summer Projects
Tuesday Turn About #305 Fun Summer Projects: The heat is turning up across the country, so let’s start thinking about some fun summer DIYs, crafts, recipes and more!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #305 FUN SUMMER PROJECTS
Last week’s party was all about summer’s ‘sizzle’.
Welcome to the last party of May 2025!
It seems like we were JUST welcoming-in May. Crazy, right?

It’s seems temps are staying in the 70s and 80s here in So Cal… I think summer is coming early. We’ll see if we get our regular “June Gloom”… we sure didn’t have our “May Gray” this year!
Let’s close the month by getting ready for summer with new crafts, projects, DIYs, and more! We’ve got some great features this week, as always!
Abode Adventures
The trailer had another ‘issue’ this week. My connections from the tanks to the hoses started leaking… in TWO places!
My first attempt fixed ONE of the leaks, but left me with another one that I wasn’t expecting. Thankfully, it was an easy and FREE fix that was a surprise, as well! Praise God!
Memorial Day was relaxing. I wasn’t scheduled at HL, so I got the day off with the family. It was a blessing!
The frames of my cabinets are painted, and the drawer fronts are primed! I had a mishap with my paint sprayer which set me back a bit, but I borrowed a brand new one from my cousin, so I’m hoping to get the doors finished in the next two weeks. My schedule at HL is a bit janky, so I’ll need to work around that! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
The hardware will be the next project, and I’m hoping it will go quicker than the cabinets. Actually, it HAS to! I need to be able to open the drawers and cabinets, right?

My Wee Finds
As I’m getting older, my skin is getting drier. I NEVER thought I would say that, as I was the girl that couldn’t control the oil on her face! Nevertheless, after a shower, I’m needing some extra help to keep my skin hydrated. BUT, I’m having a huge issue with reaching the middle of my back! So, I’m planning on trying this Amazerbath Lotion Applicator. What do you think?
Want a devotional that starts your day off right? I’m reading “Upon Waking” by Jackie Hill Perry. My daughter gifted me this for Mother’s Day, and it’s been a great encouragement to add to my morning devotions.
Weekly Household Tip
This tip has been shared before, but I was putting groceries away tonight and I thought I should share again.
Make your berries last longer by storing them in flip-top, sealed jars. Place half a paper towel in the bottom of the jar, and then add your berries straight from the grocery container. Don’t even wash them. Then place another piece of paper towel at the top before closing and placing in the fridge. Try it and see how much longer your berries last!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Stupid Simple is offering a quick, free training on Pinterest strategies. I’m going to check it out, and I’ll report to you what I think.
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
It’s been a busy week, and I’m hoping the holiday doesn’t bring down the number of link-ups, but, as always, the Lord has even THIS under His control!
