Tuesday Turn About #280 Happy Thanksgiving
Tuesday Turn About #280 Happy Thanksgiving : We are party-ing this week with a couple Thanksgiving activities for the littles, and a whole lot of Christmas!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #280 HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Last week’s party was similar to this week’s. We had a whole lot of “cross holidaytion” going on!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
We are party-ing again this week! Thanks for joining in!
Seriously… in this season of life, getting out the one Tuesday Turn About post each week is all I can handle. And I SO appreciate you joining in each week.
This week’s party will probably be the most brief thus far… I have to leave for work in just a few hours.
So, I’m sharing a couple fun activities for the kids on Thanksgiving, and then bunches of inspo for Christmas!
Abode Adventures
I’m asking the Lord to guide me on what the near future looks like. I’m realizing… if I can work 40 hours per week outside the home, I need to apply this to the blog and discipline myself to work that much at home!
So, I’m praying for the discipline to do this. And maybe some practical steps to implement it, as well.
However, I believe the Lord wants me to stay at HL through the holiday season. We have had THREE seasonal employees quit in the last two weeks, and I feel the Lord wants me to stick to my commitment.
However, I do miss blogging… and DIYing. I want to finish the 2/3 left to do on the cabinets in the kitchen, and share with you how YOU can do it, too! Plus… there’s so much more to do!
All the TTA ‘extras’ will be back soon!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Okay, y’all… bring on the Christmas! I would love to see everyday projects and DIYs, too!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

I use to be a retail store manager, and it is so hard to keep employees, or even find them in the first place, so good for you to honor your commitment. Thanks for the party.
So you really do know, Amy! Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving!

You are so welcome, Penny! Happy Thanksgiving!
Choices, choices choices! Blogging full time is a BIG job that most don’t think of as hard. It is thought of as creative, fun and a hobby. Which of course it can be all of that, but for paid work, it is still work. I have been thinking for me something out of the house would be a nice mental health break from all the work of home property and blog, which don’t get me wrong I love. But even marathon runners take time away. Best of luck in all you do. And as always thanks for hosting and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
So much truthfulness, Melynda… thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much Julie, I’m sure HL loves having you, but it’s hard to juggle life with a full time job~so much to do, so little time!! I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving~
Thanks, Jenna. We’ll see what happens after the first of the year! Happy Thanksgiving!
You will be a ray of sunshine for all of those people you encounter and a gift to your employer! Blessings to you and looking forward to seeing what you have been up to.
Thanks, Josee! To God be the glory! Happy Thanksgiving!
Good luck with your time management…sounds like you have a lot going on! Thanks for hosting and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you so much for hosting Julie. I have no idea how you manage everything but you’re amazing! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I’m not managing well… and it’s affecting my health in several ways, including going up 3 pounds in the last two weeks! Argh!
Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving, Julie. Hope you are able to celebrate with family and rest up a bit. Hobby Lobby gets really busy this time of year. Thanks so much for the feature for Five Ways to Decorate for Christmas. The DIY’s were all fun and easy. Happy Thanksgiving!
Lynne
You are so welcome. I did have a lovely holiday with my family. Thankful to Him for all that He give me, and His plans for my life. 😉
Thank you so much for featuring my post from last week Julie!
You are going to be exhausted working so hard during the Holiday season, I feel your additional discipline should be in time limiting your blog work and sticking to essentials. If you forget to allow time for self-care it’s easy to run out of steam!

You are so welcome, Pamela… and thanks for the tip. We’ll see what happens after the holidays. I may not even get hired permanently… which I would be fine with.
