TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #330 HOLIDAY FUN
Last week’s party included LOTS of Thanksgiving yummy-ness.
Welcome to the party!
We are all about holiday fun this week!

We have tips and tricks to organize your home for the holidays, DIY ornaments, Thanksgiving centerpieces, printables, and more!
Abode Adventures
Well, the rains have arrived here in So Cal… and pretty torrential, at that!
My patched roof was happy to oblige… for the first two days. 🙁 But then the major rains came and it said, “Nope… not gonna do it.”
So, yesterday my dear friend and his son anchored a tarp over my trailer to keep the rain out until it is dry enough to reseal the whole roof. Oh, and then there are the holidays.
With that said, I might be living in a blue haze inside my trailer until January. Ya see, I got a blue tarp that was 20×30… works great for the length of the trailer. However, an 8-foot-wide trailer really doesn’t need a 20′ wide tarp. Thus, one side of the trailer is completely covered. I don’t know what I was thinking when I bought a tarp that was 20′ wide! 🙄
At least my bedroom will stay dry!
Hobby Lobby is CRAZY!
…and so are my hours.
Thankfully, on Saturday, I didn’t have to close. The team was there until 10:45, and the store was still a mess. 🙁
With that said, the party will be brief this week, and Finds and Household Tips will return soon!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
So many inspiring and helpful posts, not to mention just plain fun! Thank you all for joining in, whether you’re linking-up, reading, or both!
Can’t wait for more Christmas ideas, tips, and tricks!
(As of the writing of this post (late last night), Inlinkz.com was having issues with their site. Code is not available to open the party. As soon as it is resolved, the party will be opened. (Hopefully before I have to go to work in the morning!)

I’m glad to see the issue was resolved and then blog is up!! As usual, there are lots of great ideas.
It’s always crazy when things like this happens. Good time to rest in the Lord, more!
Thank you for hosting!
Thanks for joining each week, Steph.
Thanks, Julie! My site was down, too. First time I can ever remember!
Yeah… so many bloggers freak out… but we can only do what we can do, and then (hopefully) rest in the Lord.
Oh my goodness Julie! It never ends, does it?! I sure appreciate you hosting in spite of it all! Here’s to staying dry!
Always something, for sure! 😉
Happy Tuesday, Julie! Today we’re sharing #18, and, as always, are grateful for all you do for us all (even more so when there are technical glitches and you persevere)! This week, as we reflect on our third anniversary as bloggers, we find ourselves so appreciative of everyone we’ve “met” through the blogging community. Thank YOU for being so supportive and encouraging along the way! And, of course, special thanks for featuring our “Happy Blogiversary” post! 💕
It’s been a while since I have been able to join your hop! Hope dry weather returns for you. Retail during the holidays is intense! Thank you for hosting and providing this space for all of us to share.
Marie!!! So good to ‘see’ you! I’m so glad your are joining us at the party again!
Congrats, and always love ‘networking’, and having new friends through it all!
I can’t imagine how busy you must be at Hobby Lobby! Thank you for always hosting a great link party. And thank you so much for featuring my decoupage ornaments! Have a great week!
Always love having you at the party, Missy!
Hi Julie! So sorry to hear about the leak, but glad you were able to get the help you needed! Our HL here is crazy too! Thank you for continuing to host this fun party through it all, and for featuring my DIY Christmas ornaments. It means so much! You’ll be in my prayers!
Thanks, Donna. Prayers are appreciated, for sure! I see your ornaments were featured across the link-party circuit this week! Congrats!
OMG, best of luck on those roof repairs! Thanks for hosting, I am glad the outage was short lived. Have a great week ahead.
You have a wonderful week, too!
Julie,
My Link Ups for today’s party are # 36, 37 and 38!!
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are enjoying your week and you are doing well…
Hugs,
Deb

Thanks, Deb!
With all that you have going on in your life, YOU ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED! And getting a tarp that size sounds like something I’d do. Thanks for the party. Blessings and hugs my friend.
I continue to kick myself for getting that tarp… especially now that I need to go under it to flush my tanks! Argh!
Thank you so much for featuring my fall cards. I so appreciate it. I’m so sorry to hear about your roof. Occasionally I see mobile homes that have carports built over them, and the home just sits under that. That might be another extra barrier against the elements.
Yes… my trailer neighbor has a carport, as well. I just can’t afford to do that right now. So resealing should be happening after Thanksgiving.
Julie, I’m sorry your blog was having problems. We had Inlinkz issues yesterday that gave most of the ladies on the Pinterest Challenge headaches. Cindy, our fearless leader from CountyRoad407.com contacted Inlinkz and they got it resolved. No fun when blogging goes down! Hope your day HL was a good one!!! I’ve shopped a little too frequently there this fall… (Love the cute brown transferware dishes!!!)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope the rains let up for you! Charles rolled on that white sticky paint on our 37′ Heartland this summer (took a week of work) to seal our RV’s roof. I sealed wallpaper inside and tucked back where it needed to be. Almost ready to try and sell! Still enjoy being in it though I’m happy to have a house again.
Happy Thanksgiving hugs,
Barb
Those brown transferware dishes sold out FAST at our location! Now our Christmas dinnerware is almost gone, as well!
The roof is going to be done after Thanksgiving, I’m thinking. I’m hoping my ‘team’ will be able to get it done in a weekend.
Stay dry my sweet friend… and just a few more weeks of the silly season to get through. Thank you kindly for the feature ♥
Thanks, Kerryanne… and you are so welcome!
