TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #329 THANKSGIVING YUM
Last week’s party featured lots of ‘cross-hollidation’.
The party is BIG this week!
Welcome! We have TWENTY features this week with lots of holiday recipes, plus tablescapes, and more!

I just couldn’t pass up all the yummy recipes and fun this week, and I limited myself to just 20 features! LOL!
So, let’s check out the yumminess, and maybe even a couple of crafts, some tips for the holidays, the beginnings of a kitchen makeover, and some Christmas inspiration!
Abode Adventures
This past Saturday at Hobby Lobby was CRAZY!
My shift started at 3pm, and we didn’t clock out until 10:30pm!!!
We had a record-breaking income day, which kept all our registers open and the cashiers moving the whole time!
After working with my supervisor from 8-9pm cleaning up the front-end by collecting the “I don’t want these” from the shelves, and then straightening up all the product, we turned the corner to help the other employees that had been working the go-backs in seasonal and found this:

There were about 8 baskets with many of them carrying hundreds of items to put away. We were shocked at how much was still left!!!
Christmas has arrived at Hobby Lobby!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Whew! That was a lot, but so much fun and yumminess, right? Looking forward to more holiday posts, and sharing some of my faves!

When I worked retail, it never ceased to amaze me the messes customers would create. It made me more mindful of my own shopping habits. Thanks for the party.
Yes, I agree, Amy!
Julie,
My son and DIL work at Target and they have been at their wits end with the Christmas Crazies as they call it…

Christmas Crazies is a good name for them!
Your Hobby Lobby photos look like our HL in the next town over! It’s a busy time of year, but my daughter and I go a couple of times a month, the year round. Thanks so much for the feature of my Little Bagel Bites. Have a great week ahead.
You are so welcome! It’s been so busy… not stopping!
Looks like Hobby Lobby is the busiest place to work during the holidays! Thanks for hosting, and praying you get some rest! 🙂
I think you are right, Pam! 😉
Goodness! People can be so messy! Your photos are a good reminder of how hard retail employees work this time of year! Thank you and thanks for the fun party. We’re sharing #21 this week. I’m giddy over all the autumn/holiday goodies to explore!
What a weekend you had! I personally like my holidays one at a time — I’m still focusing on Thanksgiving. So I’m especially thankful you included my tablescape among your features! Rest up for the coming weekend
You are so welcome, Sandra! Hope you have a great week ahead!
Wow Julie you are working hard!! And we totallly appreciate it on all fronts – both at the blog and at the store! Thanks so much for featuring my copper and black table. That’s so kind of you! I can’t wait to dive into everybody’s great-looking posts – it’s always SO inspiring! Thanks for hosting – I hope you get some time to relax this week!
Always so blessed to have you here, Barbara!
Thank you so much for featuring my kitchen, Julie. Get some rest after that Saturday you just had!
Thanks, Ann… and you are so welcome!
Wow! That is nuts. I hope you were able to kick back and relax on Sunday. Thanks for featuring my wreath this week. <<<>>>
Always thankful for Sundays, Libbie. And you are so welcome!
Julie, thank you so much for my Thanksgiving Day table feature. It’s much appreciated. My sister’s celebration of life was truly memorable. Every day’s a gift!
Well, it doesn’t surprise me that last Saturday was HL’s biggest day, even my daughter who hates to shop went to HL that day! And the way customers leave things…..I could go on all day about our antique booth spaces, especially linens. They look like they’re stirred with a stick each week, never re-folded, always a mess!
Thanks for another great party and so many features!
You are so welcome… and you DO understand the craziness of retail, for sure!
Hello again! We’re back to share one more post this week – #93. Thanks so much, Julie!
Happy blogiversary!
Julie, I am pleased to be sharing some free printables from my 16th Annual Simply Christmas event. Thanks for hosting, sweetie.
So happy to have! I’ll be featuring you at the party tomorrow!
Thanks for hosting! Happy Thanksgiving!
You, too, Amber!
