Tuesday Turn About #269 Pumpkin Pizazz
Tuesday Turn About #269 Pumpkin Pizazz: Let’s get inspired today with LOTS of pumpkin party-ing!
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #269 PUMPKIN PIZAZZ
At last week’s party, we welcomed in September.
Welcome back to the party!
Well, you all proved last week that you ARE alive and well! The attendance was up at the party, and for that I am grateful! THANK YOU!
This week, we had a plethora of pumpkins, and a gaggle of gourds that inspired this week’s theme!
But, don’t be surprised if another gourd-shaped fruit made it’s way into the features… It was just too cute to pass up!
Abode Adventures
Yesterday (really today (Monday), as I’m writing this), I had a last-minute visit from my cousin. We spent the day running around and shopping, and the evening watching a movie.
And then at 9:30 tonight, I let out a gasp!
I forgot the party!
So here I am at midnight, trying to the get the party done ASAP!
And then I realized another thing we forgot. To stop at Sherwin Williams and pick-up the paint for the cabinets! Guess what I’ll be doing while you all are linking-up today?
And, I’m Ready to Paint…
This weekend, I was at my son and DIL’s home and I was able to spend two days and two nights visiting with them and my grands. It was a blessing!
I was also able to pick up my paint sprayer and tent, thanks to the keen eyes of my daughter-in-law. She found the box on her first try! So, now I’m ready to get some painting started!
Thank the Lord that it looks like fall temps will be arriving on Wednesday. We are all pretty tired of 100+ temps! Makes it impossible to do any renovating… at least for this old lady! 😉
I know I promised…
… that Finds and Tips would be back this week, but, it’s just too late. I’ll be sure to have them next week!
We’re having the ‘quick-form’ of the party this week, as well! Thank you for understanding!
Though not a requirement at all, I would be SO blessed if you would subscribe and/or follow me either here on the blog, Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram. Thanks!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor, home-related posts, and family-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, travel, education, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
I would LOVE to do a fun Halloween theme for next week’s party… Some of the recipes linked last week were so fun, and I loved the post that had floating candles! So clever!
Julie, I’ve done that almost forgetting the party thing, too! Life can get so busy, and it’s easy to forget what day it is! Also, thank you so much for featuring my post last week! I FORGOT to thank you! (See what I mean?) 🙂 Enjoy your painting!
Thanks, Pam! And you are SO welcome! LOL!
I’ve been on vacation and I still haven’t had time to write new posts since I got back, so that is why one of my link ups was missing. I’m glad you had more links last week. Thanks for the party.
Oh… so glad you are back. Hope you had a lovely rest on vacation! Thanks for dropping in this week!
Julie,
Sounds like you enjoyed your visit with your cousin….
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are having a great week!!
Hugs,
Deb

We always have fun… and we laugh at the same things when we watch movies. 🙂
So many great features! Thanks for hosting, Melynda @scratchmadefood!
Thanks for joining! 😉
Thanks so much for the party Julie! Glad your temps are cooling down!
Yes! Hopefully I can get some work done now!
Thank you so much for featuring my denim pears. Hope you have a lovely week.
They are SO cute!
Thanks so much for featuring my White Pumpkins Tablescape! I added a link to your blog at the end of that post.
Thanks, Beth! It’s a lovely table!
Thanks for having us over, Julie. I’m looking forward to seeing those cabinets, soon. You may need a small nap!
I always need a nap! 😉
Hey Julie! It sounds like your life is crazy busy like ours is right now! Some days I’m not sure whether I’m coming or going, lol!! Thanks for hosting and featuring my DIY pumpkin wreath! Hope you have a great week and good luck painting your cabinets!
Thanks, Donna! Yes… and today has ended up being crazy, too! Argh!
Julie, thank you for featuring my fall tablescape! I’m humbled being chosen among those also featured! Your time with your son’s family was well spent, quality time, and a bonus of getting the sprayer for your next project!
We enjoyed a weekend of cooler morning temps, but now it’s heating back up to hot temps again (90’s by afternoon), and still no rain. I’m so ready for fall weather!
Oh no! 90s again? I’m really hoping we are done!
Your fall alliteration made me smile!
I was so tired last night, I didn’t know what you were talking about! Thanks for clarifying through my dining ‘room’ window! 😉
Thanks for the party Julie. I’m looking forward to the dip in temps. Good luck with your cabinets, can’t wait to see!! XO- MaryJo
Thanks, MaryJo! I’m excited to see them, too! LOL!
Haha Julie – I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten something like that, and stayed up really late to get it done! You’re in good company, my friend! So glad you had fun with your cousin – those moments are the best! Thanks so much for hosting and featuring. It’s a lovely party!
Glad I’m not the only one, Barbara… I’m thinking I MUST have some errors on the post, since I could barely keep my eyes open. I always have fun with my cousin. He is only 4 years old than I am, and we have always been close. 🙂
Thanks for hosting, Julie, despite a full and busy schedule. Wishing you an awesome Tuesday.
My entries this week are numbered #45+46+47
Thanks for joining each week, Esme!
Happy Wednesday, Julie! I’m so glad you got to sneak in a fun visit with your cousin. It’s feeling like fall here this week so it’s the perfect time for all of the pumpkin inspo. I can’t wait to try some of these recipes. Thank you for sharing my pumpkin donuts. I appreciate it!
They look delish, Jen! It was so good to have you at the party!
