Tuesday Turn About #166 Give Me Pumpkins!

Spread the love

The party has started! Tuesday Turn About #166 Give Me Pumpkins! (Can you guess what the features include?!) And be sure to look for my special announcement in this post!

TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #166 GIVE ME PUMPKINS!

We had some great HOME TIPS at last week’s party!

Well, September is right around the corner… literally! This week’s party will end in September, and we will be welcoming the new month at the next party. Crazy, right?!

Along with the beginning of September comes all things pumpkins, am I right?

Because my niece is a barista at ONE of our local Starbucks, I had my first PSL last week! Woo hoo! Such a treat!

And, of course, the autumn season also screams pumpkins! So this week, I’m featuring FIVE (count-’em, FIVE!) pumpkin features that I can’t wait to share!

Why five features this week? Lynne is taking the week off, as she prepares for her first week back at school and teaching. She’ll rejoin us next week, but in the meantime, Cindy and I get to each feature FIVE bloggers this week! That’s a total of ten, instead of our normal 9. 🙂

Be sure to hop on over to My Family Thyme and Reinvented Delaware to check out SIX additional features from TTA!
If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!

Now, as promised last week, let’s get some tips!

This post may contain affiliate links, at no additional cost to you. For more information, see my complete disclosure HERE.

Weekly Household Tip

Have you ever tried the Lemi Shine products?

My sister “swears” by their products, especially the Lemi Shine Rinse Aid and the Lemi Shine Tile + Shower Cleaner. I’ll be adding these to my next Walmart online order, for sure!

Let me know if you have ever tried them, and what you think!

Weekly Blogging Tip

Today’s tip is often easier said than done… especially for those of us that work outside the home.

Be consistent.

This means, if you blog two times a week, be sure to blog two times a week. 😉 Readers actually look for our newsletters and new posts, and if they know we post on Tuesdays and Saturdays every single week (or whatever two, three or four days you post), they will be waiting for the notification to see what new solutions, DIYs, or printables we have for them!

It’s Not Easy…

This has been a difficult one for me throughout my blogging career for two reasons. One, since my mother’s dementia has declined, I’ve either needed to be an advocate while she lived in a memory care community, or, like now, I’m her primary caregiver. This will not change in the foreseeable future.

The second reason is, I worked outside of the home since My Wee Abode launched in 2018. It’s been like having THREE jobs, people!

Special Announcement…

Did you notice something? I said ‘worked’… past tense!

Yep! Here’s my special (and exciting) announcement!

As of this week, I am now considered a full-time blogger! Woo hoo!

Though I’m STILL taking care of my mom along with the blog, I’m hoping that only having these TWO jobs will afford me the consistency that I know will benefit the blog AND, more importantly, the MWA ‘fam’!

Now, let’s celebrate with this week’s pumpkin features!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!

Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:

  • This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
  • If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
  • DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
  • Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
  • By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.

We are loving all the fall projects, recipes and decor! Keep ’em coming… as well as your everyday posts!
