Tuesday Turn About #217 Pumpkin Palooza
The party is HUGE again this week… and it’s all about gourds! Welcome to Tuesday Turn About #217 Pumpkin Palooza.
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #217 PUMPKIN PALOOZA
At last week’s party, we started falling for autumn!
Welcome to the pumpkin palooza!
Yep, the party is EXTRA this week, as Lynne was bombarded with school preparations! We’ll see her back at the party next week!
Can you believe that fall is almost here? I know we still have a few weeks left, but I’m already getting excited about it. And this past week, I noticed all the fantastic posts about our beloved autumnal gourd – pumpkins!
So I figured since it was just me hosting this week, how about we throw a big pumpkin party?
This week, I’m thrilled to showcase not one, not five, but a total of ten amazing pumpkin-themed posts! Let’s celebrate the upcoming season together! 🎃🍂
Happenings at MWA…
My Wee Abode is getting ready for TWO fall tours!
The first one happens next Monday, September 4, with the Bloggers’ Best Home Tour, and tour #2 is on Wednesday, September 13. Be sure to mark you calendars! There will be lots of inspiration for everyone’s decor style!
Weekly Household Tip
I’m finding it super hard to grow anything that blooms on my shade-only balcony!
Faux plants are on the agenda for the fall! I hate the thought of it, but it’s turning out that I might just LOVE the look (and ease) of it! You’ll get a peek at my new ‘blooms’ at My Wee Abode’s first fall tour!
Weekly Blogging Tip
Who out there is creating Google Web Stories? I hear they give you a nice burst of temporary traffic, which should mean new (and, hopefully, permanent) subscribers, too!
The plug-in for WordPress is quite easy to use, and super intuitive. Much like Canva or PicMonkey! I think I’m going to give it a try… How ’bout you?

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!
Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Did you enjoy all the pumpkin “pomp” this week?! So much ‘gourd’geous inspo, right? We all love the fall posts! Keep ’em coming, along with ALL your home related posts!
The features are gorgeous. Thanks for hosting and have a great week!
Thanks, Kristie… and thanks for joining even without the newsletter. I forgot to hit the schedule button last night! Argh! Just sent it!
Julie, thanks so much for featuring my easy pumpkin muffins!! I appreciate it! This week I shared my other pumpkin muffin recipe – less easy, but so good. Have a great week!
Gotta love the pumpkin-craze that starts this time of year! And you are so welcome!

Thanks for be-bopping into the party, Debra, even without a newsletter. I had my newsletter all set to go last night, and somehow missed pressing the schedule button! Argh!
Oh I love all the pumpkin inspo! Thank you so much for hosting Julie!! Hugs 🙂 Tanya
Thanks for joining, Tanya!
Wow Julie – you’ve outdone yourself with 10 features! And they’re all fabulous! Thanks so much for hosting, and for the faux flowers tip. I have some shady areas too and never thought of that! Hope you have a great week my friend!
Thanks, Barbara! I looked out the window today and found that they are planting at least TWO magnolia trees in the green belt outside my apartment. 🙁 This means even MORE shade, eventually. I’m so sad. Less light in My Wee Abode, too!
Thanks so much for featuring my basket, Julie! I’ve been trying Web Stories, but I find the app difficult and laborious to use. Once in a while it does provide a boost in traffic, but I just despise make the stories!
Yes, I’ve heard many feel the same way. I think finding a Youtube video tutorial could be helpful… maybe? 🙂
Thank you so much Julie and Lynn for hosting. May you have a blessed day and week ahead.
I linked up this week with = 32+33 (two pumpkin recipes). This is a friendly reminder and invitation to come and join us at SeniorSalonPitStop. You will find the linkup information under BLOGGING.
Thanks for joining us, Esme! I’ll run over to your party!
Wow, Julie!! You had a busy week choosing 10 features!! They are all so great. Thanks for being the ‘hostess with the mostess’!!
Thanks, Rachel! Yeah… it was last minute. But I was planning on featuring 5 this week, and had over 10 that I was picking from, so… it was a no-brainer. 😉
Happy to be able to party with y’all! Thanks and great features this week! I’m all about pumpkins lately.
Such cute pumpkiny things! (What’s a web story? I’ll stay tuned and find out!)
Thank you so much for hosting!
Pumpkin palooza- what a fun theme! Thanks for including my fall porch this week. Have a happy week!
What a great party, Julie! I love all of the fantastic pumpkin ideas! Thank you so much for featuring my pumpkin kissing ball project! Your link party is always a joy!
So many great pumpkin ideas! Thanks for the party.
Julie, THANK YOU, for featuring my 15 Minute Bandana Pumpkins and for hosting every week! Have a lovely day! Creatively, Beth
Loving all these pumpkin ideas! Such a fun party! Thank you for always being such a gracious host 🥰
Hi Julie- Web stories do work well. However, not everything created gets picked up. When stories do get picked up by Google – holy smokes – you do get additional traffic. Wishing you a lovely Labor Day weekend.
Thanks so much for hosting, Julie! Have a wonderful weekend!
