Tuesday Turn About #245 More Spring Fun
Tuesday Turn About #245 More Spring Fun: Spring is just starting, and we have LOTS to share at the party today! Plus, a bit of bittersweet news, too.
TUESDAY TURN ABOUT #245 MORE SPRING FUN
Last week we learned ‘how’ to spring!
Welcome to the party, everyone!
Today, we are doing it up big!
AND, we have some sad/happy news to share.

Unfortunately for us, this will be the last party for Lynne from My Family Thyme.
I have enjoyed co-hosting for with Lynne for over 1.5 years now! We have been through so much good, and a bit of hard times too as we both lost our mothers to Alzheimer’s in recent months. It was good to have a friend close by to share with during that time, for both of us!
Lynne is going to be pursuing some new projects and giving more time to content that is specific to her blog. I totally understand, and I’m so happy for her… but, she will be missed.
So, we are sending Lynne off with a bang, and we are both sharing TEN features this week. (Okay, I’m slipping in an eleventh… because I can! 😉 ). That’s a total of 21 features!
We had so much great content this past week that it was just too hard to slim it down to five each. So, we are featuring LOTS of spring posts this week… anywhere from a soup recipe to a furniture makeover!
Be sure to hop on over to My Family Thyme to check out FIVE additional features from TTA!
If you haven’t been featured at MWA this week, you just may be featured there!
Be on the lookout next week for a new look at Tuesday Turn About, as well as some additional changes:
- The party will be regularly hosted by just lil’ ol’ me… I’m not looking for any new permanent co-hostesses, at this time.
- However, I’m contemplating inviting guest co-hostesses… we’ll see how that goes!
- Each week, I’ll be featuring MORE blog posts. Not sure how many yet, but today might be a good hint!
- There will be some new content/features at each party.
- And, Abode Adventures will be a regular feature.
Abode Adventures
There will be a MWA 3.0 coming soon. Not sure where or when, or even WHAT, but you’ll be the first to know! MWA 2.0 is too large and too expensive for me to stay without Mom, so I will be leaving by April 30!
I look forward to the day where I will be living with my children full-time but, for now, none of us are ready for that! 😉 I really enjoy living by myself, and it’s been awhile since that has happened.
Also, it looks like I may be joining the workforce again.
Please be in prayer, as I have so much to do, and so little time to do it! I’m looking forward to seeing God’s faithfulness work in big ways, as always!
Weekly Household Tip
My cousin recently shared that he’s been using Dawn Powerwash for removing stains on his clothes. He says it works like a charm!
Have you tried this yet?
Weekly Blogging Tip
You’ve heard me talk about iMark Interactive quite a few times here at the party. Today, I wanted to share with you the iMark Interactive online courses page.
Grayson Bell, the owner of IA, has a number of wonderful courses and, at least one is FREE!
You might think, “I’ve been blogging for years! I don’t need a course on “How to Navigate WordPress”!” Well, you might think you don’t (or maybe you think you do). But this course, that includes free access to Grayson’s FB group (which he is very involved in), has been a tremendous support throughout the years I’ve been blogging and is worth its weight in gold! (Yes, I know it doesn’t weigh anything, but you get what I mean.)
Plus, Grayson has a great reputation in the blogging community! Give it a try! What have you got to lose? You’ve got plenty to gain!

Check out our Tuesday Turn About Link Party Pinterest board! All featured posts are pinned to this board each week, IF you have a pinnable image!

Let’s start sharing! Because this is a party, we encourage all who link up to visit several other bloggers who have linked as well – comments and pins are a great way to spread the love!
Before you get started, take a look at our guidelines:
- This party is for home decor and home-related posts only (recipes, organizing, DIY, crafts, etc.). Link up to 3 related posts. Please do not link up informational posts that do not relate to the topic.
- If you would please not link up shops, advertising, round-ups, other link parties, or any posts promoting sales, we would appreciate it.
- DO NOT PIN FROM IMAGES ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!
- Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!
- By linking to the party, you give us permission to share your projects on our blogs and social media, with the use of ONE photo from your blog for that may be included in a pinnable collage. We will always give proper credit with a no-pin image.
Now don’t forget to come by next week, and see all the fun changes going on here at Tuesday Turn About!

Thank you for hosting this wonderful linkup.
Thanks for joining us! Love your posts!
Thank you so much for featuring my post on spring decorating tips. I so appreciate it. Thank you for hostessing too. I’m not sure “MWA” means, but it sounds like you might be moving. That sounds tough, but I’m anxious to see how you will decorate your new place.
MWA is My Wee Abode. 😉 Yep, another move is on the horizon. Just another situation to trust and rest in the Lord for His guidance and provision. Hugs!
Julie,

Thank you for the shout-out, Debbie… and you are so welcome!
Thanks so much Julie! I am sorry about Lynne and wish her the best in her new ventures. I will keep you in my prayers as you relocate and begin a new chapter 💕
Thanks, Jenna. All things are going well here, and God is good!
Julie, I will be honored to lift you in prayer as you embark on MWA3.0. You have such a supportive network in your family, and I’m confident they’ll rally around you. I hope you’ll find the perfect fit in employment at this time in your life, something that gives you peace and fulfillment (perhaps as an advocate for those who are going through similar circumstances as you’ve lived?).
Thank you for the party – big bash! I will visit Lynne to thank her as well. Easter blessings to you!
Thank you, Rita. That is an interesting idea about being an advocate. I’ll lift that in prayer, and ask the Lord to guide me if this might be an option. And, yes, my family is being a great support, as usual! 😉
Thank you so much for including my Easter tablescape in your features this week….hugs!
Your tablescape is lovely, Penny! You are so welcome!
Thank you for hosting and thank you so, so much for sharing my fantel mantel!!! Hope you have a lovely week! And we’ll all be missing Lynne and wish her the best of luck in her future blogging endeavors!
🙂 Linda
You are so welcome! I love your fantel!

Happy Easter, my friend. Prayers are so appreciated. So much to do in the next 5 weeks or so! Whew! Glad I have Jesus as my Anchor! 😉

Tell me about… and more to come! Thanks for the prayers… so appreciated!
Thank you for hosting Julie and Lynn and may you have a wonder Easter

Thanks, Esme! You have a blessed Easter, as well!
You are amazing Julie – I so admire your constancy and determination! Thank you so much for continuing to include us in your plan. I love this party and can’t wait to see what exciting changes you’re going to share. I’ll be sending you comfort and energy and love!
Thank you for the kind words, Barbara. I constantly have to take my thoughts captive, and turn them over to the Lord, Who is my Anchor. I’d be a mess if not for Him!
Thanks to both of you for hosting each week and best wishes to Lynne! Enjoy your week!
Shelley
Thanks, Shelley! Have a blessed Easter!

So many changes lately, Julie, and more to come. I am praying for you as you navigate these twists and turns. I hope MWA 3.0 is better than ever. I’ll miss Lynne, but, as you know, we all have to zig and zag occasionally. Hugs, sweet friend.
Thank you for the prayers, Carol. Yep, lots going on. And some pivoting on my part, too! Lots to trust the Lord for.
